Thanks to Earl and the other waiter for the great service & experience on our last night in Brixham!! We loved every minute of it and our kids loved the seafood too!! Highly recommend it and Earl is the best waiter. Such a charming man, he makes the place!

We were really looking forward to our meal at the Quayside restaurant after reading the reviews. My daughter had the seafood platter after the first mouthful of the crab my daughter got a piece of shell stuck in her throat. We tried the crabmeat and it was full of shell we mentioned it to the waiter but received no apologies. We felt rushed and was asked if we wanted dessert before we had finished our main meal. Really disappointed with the whole experience.

Have to be honest and say not a great meal, service was average, but one thing winds me up is being asked about 4 times if our meal was ok by different Members of staff.

Booking was easy. The welcome by Earl was superb. The service was great. The food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Would highly recommend.

Food was terrible... had to give back the sea food platter as it wasn't cooked and Mrs was pregnant ... was allowed to order something else. Ordered the hake which came pink inside ... worst lasagne I've probably ever tasted ....

We stayed at quayside hotel and decided to have dinner in the restaurant. Fantastic meal, wine and a great service. Attentive staff and all very knowledgable of wines and also advice on where and what to see. Thank you to everyone

We had a meal on Mon & Tues evening of the 26th & 27th July which we enjoyed very much, especially the Black bream it was cooked to perfection. If we ever come back to stay at the Quayside Hotel, we would definitely recommend the restaurant as the happy, friendly staff during the COVID restrictions, the quality of the food, price a wee bit expensive, but to expect your food to be exceptionally good and satisfying it was well worth it. Thankyou.

Second visit here and just like last year found the restaurant unbearably hot!!!! I appreciate that it was a particularly hot day but was surprised to see still no ventilation as no windows were open and not even a fan circulating. In these covid times I thought that ventilation was a must in indoor venues? Meal was spoilt by the fact that we could not wait to finish and get back in the fresh air!!!! Very disappointed and an issue which could be solved so easily!!!!!

Great atmosphere, we were there for the weekly quiz. The food was of a very high standard, cooked with fresh ingredients, at a reasonable price. If you in Brixham definitely book up for the restaurant.

We ate twice in the hotel during our stay and both occasions the food was good and very attentive service

My family and i had a fantastic meal on Saturday evening. My daughter had the lobster which she raved about even asking to send complementries to the chef. The staff are so friendly and we would definately be going back. Thankyou .

Sadly the booking from sugarvine never made it to the restaurant. All very embarrassing, me showing the confirmation email, the restaurant looking bemused. Luckily they could accommodate us.

Food was passable a bit on the costly side but the service was first rate Very welcoming staff

My wife and I had a lovely meal at the Quayside Hotel restaurant. The service was very good, the restaurant was well furnished and cosy and the food well prepared. It was an unexpected pleasure to find such a civilised place whilst on holiday. I would happily return when next in Brixham.

The Quayside Hotel is our Favourite place for evening meal. Food quality in terms of flavours and presentation is outstanding. Even as non residents, been allowed to take our after dinner coffee in the hotels comfortable lounge is a wonderful bonus, (as opposed to drinking it the table) You will not be disappointed if you dine at the Quayside Hotel.
