Much happier after lunchtime visit than on an earlier visit at 7 pm on a Saturday - much more civilized and staff not so hattered.

Nice meat but lousy service. A place where some of the staff believe they are doing you a favour by serving you luke warm or cold food. Not a patch on the Toby in Edinburgh we went to.

Excellent, I ate here a little while ago and was greeted by a warm friendly atmosphere. The guys behind the bar were great, nothing was too much trouble for them, would go back again.

Since the re-opening in December last year this pub has really turned around. The whole decor and amibience of the place is beautiful. The food is fantastic and the service was friendly and helpful. Ive now become a regular there and would definitely recomment this restaurant.

Poor! First visit a couple days ago. As I walked in, the two women were nattering away to each other in Chinese. She simply nodded at me and continued her conversation without asking me what I'd like. There was no interest in what i had to say. No eye contact. Portion sizes were that of a child.The worst part being, when she asked whether I want salt and vinegar (Well she didn't ask, she said "You want") She did so AS she was already putting it on! Easy to assume I DON'T have salt on my chips. Instead of mentioning this, I simply walked out. I can safely say I won't be going back.

Simply superb: fantastic food and excellent service. but it is far from berkshire. i would request the people start new Red hot in berkshire.

Cafe Ganges is a wonderful restaurant, with brilliant food and service, I would recommend this facility to anyone who wanted a cheap yet yummy night out.

i popped in for lunch with my dad about 4 weeks ago, the service was polite, prompt and helpful. We ordered a simple lunch meal which was delicious, this has given he a problem because my dad keeps pestering for a return visit, so i will be seeing you soon. Stephen
