First class service, delicious food, reasonably priced wines and drinks. What more could you want !!! The best oriental food for miles around.

Royal Siam – Aylesbury

I have been a long distance truck driver for 26 years and eaten fish and chips all over the UK, I have never found any fish and chips that have matched the quality and taste of good old Yorkshire fish and chips, that is until I tried Smiles at Bourne End, and I must say they are every bit as good.

i popped in for lunch with my dad about 4 weeks ago, the service was polite, prompt and helpful. We ordered a simple lunch meal which was delicious, this has given he a problem because my dad keeps pestering for a return visit, so i will be seeing you soon. Stephen

The Black Horse – Milton Keynes

Horrible pub with no atmosphere and too many underage kids. Food is passable.

The Fleur de Lis – High Wycombe
Dicey

Had a few meals here now. Every one excellent quality, and all different to the others. Proper quality grub, and if it's not on the menu, and he's got the ingredients, Chef will rustle it up. Overall: great food and service. Who can ask for more?

The Bell and Bear – Olney

Just had a sumptuous meal , Kleftico (lamb shank) was amazing. Fantastic atmosphere and a truly wonderful evening. Service was first class. I have booked my birthday celebration and also purchased tickets for myself and friends for the Alvin as Elvis evening on June 3rd 2010. Really looking forward to returning.

The Greek Taverna – Aylesbury

Had a nice burger here whilst waiting for a friend. Lovely pub in a nice village, but food is very expensive for what you get,

The new owners have changed this back into an English eatery. Had a really nice evening meal here just before Xmas with my wife: smoked duck pre-starter, fresh mussels with cider & bacon, pheasant terrine, duck leg with bubble & squeak, belly pork with black pudding, a lemon posset and baked figs with honey ice cream. Three (well four!) courses and a bottle of Marlborogh Pinot Noir was about £50. Amazing value and incredible quality

Without doubt the best Indian in Olney, nice guys and consistently great food. Excellent! Recommend the Korai, the Vindaloo and any of the chefs specials. Always get 20% off my takeaways too when I pay cash, a nice touch.

The Four Pillars Tandoori Restaurant – Olney

The Bounty – Bourne End

We went for lunch here recently, the place was very busy and had a cracking atmosphere. We were amazed that even though they have a Michelin Star they offered a two course lunch for £10! My wife had a roasted tomato and basil soup which she said was delicious, home made breads, followed by a kind of de-constructed lasagne which she hasn't stopped talking about. I opted for two homemade fishcakes with capers and a very nice sauce and some of the best chips I have ever had, cooked in a way I haven't encountered before. We shared a lemon posset for dessert. Stunning!
