Visited on the occasoin of my sons WAKE. My son was a regular and I would like to thank the lovely management and staff, and the two hundred or so friends and family who gave STAN such a wonderful send off.It is so good to know that STAN was loved by so many lovely people. Loved this place when we lived in Burntwood 8 years ago. Just moved back .

Aashiqs, it's nice food. I have never eaten there before its really amazing food so good. Staff are too good frankly, service is fantastic, Love You X. I'm coming again.

Just been to the seaqueen amd ordered large cod and chips. What a joke £7 for what should have been a mini fish, and some greasy not very mice chips , wont be going there again in a hurry !

we held a 50th birthday meal there on the 12th September 2009, the food was excellent gill and peter work very hard to ensure that the customer is happy, the staff work extremely hard and are very pleasant, nothing is to much trouble we would recommend the foresters to everyone good value for money pleasant and friendly establishment, keep up the good work gill, peter and staff

We regularly come here and we recently had a party (24th July) in the lounge with a Disco/Karoke and buffet. We couldn't have wished for a better evening. It was a night to remember. The food was perfect, as usual. Gill, Peter and all of the staff make you very welcome and are always helpful. Our guests came from all over the country and were very complimentary about the food, drinks and prices.

Fantastic food,great childrens menu, great value for your money,we have a meal every saturday evening, then enjoy the free entertainment that is provided in the lounge,Gill Pete and all the staffs make you very welcome, you would have to go a long way to beat excellent food,excellent beer,superb entertainment all under one roof.

We held our wedding reception here on 23rd May and eat here on a regular basis - Excellent in every way: Gill, Peter and staff did us proud: food quality superb, service and staff wonderful. Everyone had what they wanted to eat and there was more than enough. Nothing was too much trouble Thank you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Have given this pub the benefit of the doubt a few times but I am disappointed. Positives, Sunday lunches are good value for money and well worth a visit for, the pedigree is mainly good. Negatives, apart from Sunday lunch then drive past the place, even get served in an empty bar is hard work, the staff are more interested in gossiping than serving, the landlady looks and treats you with contempt (personal observations only). I would and do pop in for Sunday lunch despite the slow and inapt service but apart from that I would not bother.

If you are wondering what to have during the week then nip in for one of there cheap carverys. Food is edible and the beer is competitively priced. Family friendly and excellent value for money.

I totally agree that the food in Aashiqs is excellent, been a few times and never had cause for complaint in the food. It has no bar so you can take your own drinks making it a cheaper night out. My only gripe has been that sometimes have felt rushed (Friday and Saturday nights) during there busy periods when they want you eaten and out. On saying that it is by far the best Indian in the area.
