This place really is quaint . I really have fallen in love with restaurants relaxed atmosphere. The owners are great they really care about your experience each visit . All staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble . The food , well the biggest compliments to the chef because this is high standard grub ! Menu offers something for everyone with a special board for seasonal offerings which I find fabulous! I have to say I struggled to pick my meal because it all sounded so good , so I will be back very soon to try something new ! But finally , my favourite thing about this place is the cocktails ! If you like a good quality cocktail this is the place for you . Every drink poured is made to perfection . These cocktails are the best in Greater Manchester !

Absolutely LOVE it here. First visit. Great service, the falafel, humus and beetroot wrap is absolutely delicious!! Nice little gem that I've always wanted to go and never booked. Be back very soon! Thanks so much!

Amazing evenings with friends. The 2 for 10 cocktail evening is such great value. The food was also amazing. Highly recommend the fillet steak which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Friendly staff and overall great service l.

First time visiting the Sunny bank restaurant. Food was lovely, really tasty and good portions. The drinks were to be desired…! They did say they didn’t have mint for the mojito, so I expected it to be different. But the raspberry was bare minimal topped up with soda & wasn’t mixed. Just tasted like soda really. So just had normal drinks with mixer after that. It was very quiet and chilled, a nice couples evening. I will be returning. But would probably go to the other one.

Fabulous meal as usual, never had a bad meal here and the staff are lovely, great selection of cocktails too. We will always come back here at each menu rotation as the food and service are top drawer.

Food was delicious. We could not fault it. Although very busy the service was good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It is very resonably priced

Another fabulous evening at the crowded house . Dave and Jo such good hosts Do miss the Hake dish and sea bass dishes on the menu the fish dumpling curry is good but it might be to hot in summer lol The salt n pepper wings are fantastic

My husband and I and our best friends had a great evening at L’Aquila. It was our first time at this restaurant and we all said we would definitely be returning soon. The service aswell as the food was excellent.

I have visited crowded house numerous times and always recommend their food and service. I have not attended for over 12 months but came on Friday with a few girlfriends. The overall visit was lovely as usual but wasn’t very happy with the new menu and wasn’t value for money I really like coming to crowded house the hospitality is tremendous but prefer old menu

Place was empty.Can understand why.Food was poor and laden with salt.Don’t ever want to denigrate any establishment but whoever keeps writing these five star reviews must be an associate.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and attentive service. It was quiet when our party of three arrived and the owner and waiting staff made the effort to chat which was lovely. When the dishes of Lamb rump, Rib-eye and Salad arrived we thoroughly enjoyed our respective dishes. The meat dishes were tender and the accompanying vegetables enhanced each plate. Absolutely delightful food. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely restaurant. Fantastic service. The food was amazing, steak cooked to perfection and large choice of potatoes and sides. Would definitely recommend.

As always Crowded House is our go to restaurant, staff are awesome, Food out of this world, and to top it all they occasionally have an artist on. Always recommend Crowded House to people wanting somewhere to go for a meal. If you’ve not been you should give a try, you’ll not be disappointed. 10/10

Attentive service from the moment you step through the door nothing is ever too much trouble for Dave, Johanne and the team. Been regulars since they first opened and this weekend decided couldn't be bothered with cooking a Sunday Roast so took advantage of the pick & mix approach on offer. Picking from the choice of roast meats on offer the lamb rump (a favourite from the regular menu), Yorkshire pudding and a gravy boat arrived with Dauphinoise and Roast potatoes along with pancetta in peas which really hit the spot when accompanied by a decent, and not over priced, bottle of red wine. Well fed the Easter special dessert unfortunately had to be avoided - still there is always next time.

Really great experience. Food was amazing, service excellent. We will return.

Our first visit to L'Aquila but definitely won't be our last. Staff welcomed us when we arrived and were really helpful and polite. My husband had the soup of the day followed by lasagna and I had the mixed olives followed by lobster ravioli which was absolutely delicious.
