Family meal on Boxing Day. Food was gorgeous, food service excellent. Drinks service slow had to ask twice for drinks we had ordered. Lovely decor. Would highly recommend and will return.

Lovely Christmas Eve meal here.. great food (pasta garlic bread bowls are excellent), very good service and nice atmosphere..

The restaurant was very nice with a relaxed atmosphere and decorated beautifully We enjoyed the food, it was cooked to perfection and thought it was value for money. The waitresses were very nice and polite although we wasn’t asked if we were happy with the food and also if we wanted another drink even though it wasn’t that busy, we had to keep trying to catch their eye to ask for some water and coffee . The only thing I was definitely not happy with was the service charge that was added, most restaurants now give you the choice if you want it taken off or leaving on. I would always give the waitresses a tip but don’t like being told how much I have to give

First visit since name change. Was Sunday afternoon so very quiet. The restaurant is lovely, nice ambience and authentic. Service was attentive and friendly. We share the mushrooms, very tasty but just a shame they were only luke warm. My husband had the pasta with steak. He wasn't overly impressed. Firstly it should have been served in a bowl and not a plate. Secondly there was too much, what he called gravy. I had the lasagne, and although tasty, there wasn't enough sauce. We will go again and try other things as it is very local to us.

The food & service was absolutely incredible when we visited on the 17th December, the waitress couldn’t do enough for us despite being busy! Can’t wait to return!

Outstanding food (don't need a starter if having the pizza pasta bowl!), great atmosphere with lovely furniture and decor. Eric works really hard (as do the barman and waitresses) and chats to customers. The bolagnaise ragu was lovely and we enjoyed the creme brulee cocktail as well as Eric's home made limoncello! We are 5 mins walk away and will definitely be back. For such lovely food the price is good too - try the wine on tap the red was delicious

A lovely evening with lovely food and friendly attentive staff. Went for the viral garlic bread pasta bowls and was not disappointed! Very fresh and very tasty ! Hearty portion and very reasonably priced. Great live singer too, added to the ambience and was very talented. 10/10 will certainly return and look forward to trying more off the menu.
