We all had burgers and they were excellent

Very enjoyable afternoon and evening in the King Stag. It was very busy but the burger was excellent

Great food and very welcoming atmosphere. Went with our 2 dogs and were greeted with water bowls and dog treats. Service was excellent and the food was very good! Would definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed our lunch very much. Delicious sea bass and chocolate brownie both gluten free. All the staff were friendly and helpful … the restaurant is very comfortable with tables at a good distance apart

Booked for a family birthday. Staff were great but our food was disappointing and not of the high standard we have usually enjoyed. Two of us had roast beef which was very tough and seemed like the end of the joint . Vegetables were average. Also found the table we sat at very dingy with poor lighting.

Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. A beautiful rich gravy covering melt in your mouth beef and lamb.

The staff were very welcoming and the food was great! We chowed down on the delicious beef short ribs which were meltingly good! It was our first visit there and we will definitely come again.

Six of us ate and drank, celebrating a birthday. The food was all delicious and plentiful. Our waitress gave us great service with a smile. Couldn’t fault our evening.

We ate at 6:30 on Saturday evening, a little bit early. The food was very good, steak and chicken curry. The restaurant area was occupied my just the two of us and the room was cold (covid we assume). Another time we will book to eat in the bar - a bit more life.
