Myself ,husband & son all bookedin for a meal on 22nd . Easy to book arrived a found our table. Waitress came over welcomed us to Louis provided us all with the menu asked what drinks we would like and in less than a minute we were served our drinks . As we had sll decided what we wanted she took our food order. Took about 5mins and our meals arrived piping hot and looking delish. My husband had Fishpie which has various pieces of fish topped with cheesy mash accompained with garden peas. Son had Scampi ,chips and garden peas. I has Beef Lasange eith garlic bread and small side salad. All servings were very well sized and exceptional quality that you come to expect ehen eating at Louis. No matter what time of day or what meal you order the food is always fresh and hot and very tasty. Portions excellent value. Staff are friendly restaurant is always clean snd welcoming. We all throughly enjoyed our meals. Service is 1st class.

So pleased ! Thankyou ! Booked up a couple of weeks ago online ! Easy ! A get together for me and my three grown daughters . As work makes things hard for us all . Asked if they would be able to do a Buck’s Fizz as not on menu . But went out if there way to make that happen . Thankyou girls ! We will be back great food also . Jacqui xx happy Christmas xx

Fantastic Sunday Roast. Huge portion and piping hot. Would definitely recommend.

The meal was beautifully cooked and very tasty. The service was exceptional. The Christmassy atmosphere was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Don't want to frighten you all, but we will definitely be back!!! Thank you all for a perfect experience.

I think for the money the festive afternoon tea we had could be presented a little better. Not just on plates. More tea and coffee offered. I visit here often as I am local. Food and staff great.

We started coming here on 9th December as it’s my brother’s birthday and his name is Louis. It has become a family tradition now. The food is delicious , served with care and cheerful enthusiasm. It is very good value for money so we recommend it on all fronts. I’m sure that we will visit in the summer as well.

Went here last Sunday (2nd ), and we both had the roast which were both excellent. Lovely vegetables, plenty of meat, 1xpork and 1xlamb. Lovely staff, made to feel really welcome. Will definitely recommend and return as we often do.

Me & my husband came across this little gem of a place whilst on holiday in Cornwall. We now travel to it just for lunch & have a day out. The service is great. The food is always lovely. The breakfasts are great. I had fish & chips & it was delicious. The ice creams are also amazing.

We enjoyed another Pensioner's Special two course lunch on Wednesday. As always, made very welcome by staff who can never do enough for you and not rushed over meal which we had with friends. Food freshly cooked and piping hot and enjoyable. Fantastic value at £8.60 for two courses.

We always come here when visiting the partents. The afternoon tea was amazing! We always get the afternoon tea whenever we come down. Everything was so nice, all the sweet treats were great and the little milkshakes were divine! Such good value for the price
