I have tried this takeaway and to be honest this was the worst takeaway that I have ever had , it was that bad I took it back to the " The saucy chip club " and requested my money back. They asked why and I told them , to be fair to the manager he refunded my money. Would I recommend to anyone NO , NO NO.

Always had a pleasant experience visited several times.

We went for an anniversary meal this weekend. The staff were friendly and polite and the food was superb. All 6 in our party agreed that it was the best meal we had out in a while. Thre service side is a bit old fashioned (take your orders in the bar area and silver service) and it could probably do with a makeover but I felt thiat this added to the restaurants charm.

Homemade roast potatos? Dry inedible. Meats were like leather, service staff just chuckled when complaint made. owner seemed genuinely shocked at complaint but when food obviously so pre prepared quality will never be good. food was good in 2007 chef has either changed or got lazy. shame was looking forward to the food here 4/10 and thats generous.

Very good pizza delivery time in about 25 mins

not going to even review this place had the worst curry ever here the other night and me and my friend were not impressed at all a watered down curry had to change it twice enough said there

This really is the best chippy in Barry. The food is always fresh and the service is friendly.

Il Vesuvio in Llantwit Major is a real find. Went 'on spec' with four friends on Saturday evening, despite being busy, they found space for us. To be honest we weren't expecting much, just happy to be out together for a bite and a glass of wine. What a surprise! Traditional Italian food, great ingredients beautifully cooked, good service. Everyone very impressed. One Italian food lover who's fairly hard to please announced that her spaghetti carbonara was the best she's had. Ever. Our Gamba prawns were fat and succulent and the sauce was finger licking good. Perfectly cooked pasta, sauces just right. The veal was tender and tasty, the chicken sublime, and vegetables nicely 'al dente'. Niggles? well at a push - the glass of house white, not great. Ice cream was probably not italian. But the icy beers and bottle of recommended red were delicious. Fairly priced, well served good food, only a hop & skip from the train station. We'll be back!

The gallery is a lovely little place and the staff take great care in cooking the diverse ingredients they use, it doubles up as a bar downstairs where they serve lovely cocktails. It has served as a marker for the area as more and more restaurants are investing down broad street, Its turning int obarry's own little restaurant quarter

very good food served by warm accommodating staff who knew their product and would help choose from the great menu of the best ingredients, very good ambience, nice place to be will return again and again

The Gallery is a fantastic place. Food, wine, staff and atmosphere are all great- i'm yet to find a fault. The price of the food was always good value considering the ingredients used, (scallops, venison, etc, but since their recent change of menu in the summer it is now fantastic value for money. A superb 3 course meal for 2 with wine came to under £50. My favourite thing about the Gallery is the atmosphere and decor- it's a fantastic place to relax in. We found this place by chance having seen it advertised on a roundabout. We had an excellent meal that was obviously cooked to order, the wine we selected was extremely good quality for the price. There is a superb seating and smoking area outside where we could watch the children safely play. We visited again but on a Sunday-what a lunch it was brilliant-the gravy was outstanding. Highly Recommended !

I loved this restaurant and the staff and managers are amazing they are all very helpful and friendly. Whatever questions you have to ask they will always try their hardest to help and give an answer politely. The entertainment is fantastic on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will go back anytime. Gareth Sherlock is the best bar man there so if you want an excellent pint of beer I suggest that you request for him to pull it for you!!! He is such a lovely guy.

The gallery is simply a lovely way to spend your time, the food is great the atmosphere is great, the service is great and the price is above reasonable for the quality of what you get. Not only is this place unique for Barry, its unique for South Wales. Its all the fantastic things that come with eating in an amazing restaurant but without the pretension.

Best Italian I have been to in South Wales, without doubt. Meat, fish and pasta dishes all freshly prepared and of excellent quality. Lovely setting especially in the summer.

Sunday roast at the Gallery is fantastic. The beef I had was perfectly cooked and the three courses were great value for money. I would definitely recommend anyone to drop by the Gallery on a Sunday.

I cannot say enough good about The Gallery. Everything was superb and although it is more expensive than your average restaurant that's because it is anything but average. I loved the food, the art and the general decor and cannot wait to return to sample their Christmas menu.
