Went to China Town on a Saturday night so we expected it to be busy, which it was. The service was quite slow and we had to ask if we could order our food, but I expect on a quieter night the service would be much quicker. The food / house wine was very nice and the portions were more than adequate. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.
China Town – TenbyWe ate here on Sunday17/07/07 Paul who is the owner was cooking I chose the lamb and my son had the beef, my son who is mad on yorkies was delighted when he was brought an extra plate of the same without it being a problem. The veg was not lacking either we had proper roast potatoes roast parsnip-boiled potatoes-creamed leeks-cabbage-carrots-swede-broccoli-cauliflower-peas-all cooked to perfection. I nearly forgot the sweet as I was eating the main in my mind again,my son had icecream and I had the chocolate and lime cheesecake delicious!!.-------In the week we returned to have another meal in the evening the restaurant changes to Indian food once again a different and brilliant meal I was told that the chef was second in the Indian chef of the year a couple of years ago and it showed in the food well done all the staff a great team. If you are in Solva don't miss this one.

Royal India Brasserie – New QuayAn excellent more then value for money meal. The service was spot on and the staff were more than helpful. I would recommend their Sunday lunches as well as their weekday meals

Butchers Arms – CarmarthenWonderful views and excellent views. Particular impressed by local produce and animal welfare consideration i.e corn feed chicken, local lamb. Price is what you pay for so equates to very good value.

Victoria Inn – Haverfordwestwe had a great meal at the Paddock. the dog was very welcome outside and the staff bought out a bowl of water for her. Beers were 'buy one get one free' so we stayed longer than intended! well worth a visit and we shall go back again for sure.
Paddock Inn – TenbyA well run pub/restaurant with a very wide and varied menu. Very much the centre of the local community. Make sure you get there before 2:30 if you want lunch!
Lion Inn, The – MonmouthThis was the first time i had visited this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. There is a vast menu to choose from, really spoilt for choice! The mussels were something to die for!!!!!!!!!! so good in fact i had two servings. The duck was mouth-watering and I would recommend this restaurant most highly.
Villa Napoli – Penarthwe always come to this restaurant on Sundays when are visiting family in wales, the food and service is just perfect - love the place so much. The sunday special is so cheap for what you get we always wonder how they can do it at the price.
Plaza Indian Cuisine – NeathHighly recomended. The restaurant food is amazing, the best in the area by far.
Drovers Arms – LlandeiloA little expensive for the venue but the food was very tasty. Staff a bit disorganised, it wasn't busy when we were there but it might be frustrating if it were.
Bay of Bengal – Tenbya brilliant evening will definitely recommend the best around.
Mango House – MonmouthWe have eaten here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. The food is full of flavour and not pub grub at all, yet the prices are extremely good. 6 of us ate two courses with 2 rounds of drinks for under £90. the staff are extremely friendly and attentive.
Plas Derwen – Abergavenny(PLEASE NOTE: Victoria Inn Siginstone NOT Victoria Inn Bridgend - you need to correct your index page) First thing that strikes you is the dining room - spotlessly clean and glittering with lots of highly polished cooper and brass artefacts. The service is polite, bright, efficient and courteous, the food beautifully prepared and very very tasty - and try the house red, it's delicious. This is one to keep for that special occasion especially when trying to impress - but book in advance, it filled up very quickly, and I can see why.
