Red Lantern, The – ChepstowI love going to chiquito! The music and atmosphere is lovely and the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious, although the amount they give seems to have gone down : ( This is the only bad point though. I only get filled up if I have all 3 courses. Go on a dinner time during weekdays - free refills and the cheaper menu!! Otherwise it gets expensive.
Chiquito – SwanseaThe most fantastic chinese! superb food served by lovely people! go - see for yourself.
Red Lantern, The – ChepstowI have eaten here a number of times and the food is excellent. Home cooked, very reasonable price and delightful friendly and family service. The restaurant decor has bee improved over the past two years. The landlord of the pub keeps a good pint. All to be recommended.
Ship and Castle, The – SwanseaThe New Tredeger Arms is a lovely place to eat out and is a nice family pub. The food is great and the staff is very kind.
New Tredegar Arms, The – SwanseaWe were recommended to eat at Butterflies by Paul, the proprietor of Oakfield B&B, where we were staying at for two nights. Butterflies was easy to find and the meal we had was excellent. The service, staff and decor of the restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next night and everything was as good as the previous time. We can thoroughly recommend anyone in the area to try out this excellent venue.
Butterflies – PontypoolI recommend the outstanding sunday lunch in this quaint, friendly pub, which has been recently refurbished.
Crofty Inn – SwanseaRecently under new management, this great little gem on Gower serves fantastic, innovative food, drawing on fresh local ingredients.
Britannia Inn – SwanseaA superb place comparable to native restaurants in Japan - excellent
Ichiban – Cardiffgreat quality food and excellent service
Made in India – TenbyA fantastic menu, which draws on the abundance of the very best local ingredients... All dishes are cooked to perfection with stunning presentation and the care and attention that only a truly gifted chef can bring. I would highly recommend the lamb and their hand dived scallops. The desserts are sublime and the wine list outstanding and well conceived. I think the price of a meal here reflects the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chef, you certainly get what you pay for.
