Green Bridge Inn – Carmarthenon our holiday to west wales we found the white hart thatched inn and brewery it was amazing the family which own it are so friendly the food is freshly cooked to order as you can see the chefs cook it in front of you in the open kitchen beer is also made there to a secret family recipe the 600 year old inn is like a museum in itself truly a step back in time my kids played for ages in the large gardens giving us time to look around and enjoy if ever you are lucky enough to be going to west wales i would recommend you stop yet again outstanding
White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery, The – Carmarthenwe decided to try this pub as we have been going to the other pub in the village and were disappointed with the food. we had a burger which was obviously not home made as the menu stated the service wasn't to bad but there seemed to be a lot of play between the staff, the customer was being neglected. we wont visit again so disappointed.
Butchers Arms – Carmarthenwe enjoyed our meal and their own beer was outstanding a definite place to stop for a meal and the family were so helpful another great find everyone must go there.

White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery, The – CarmarthenThis place is great. Good value, great service and generous portions.
Plough Inn – CarmarthenProper, local food cooked properly and an enjoyable meal. Landlady believes in using local ingredients wherever possible and this specifically means chicken that has not travelled the world and been frozen/chilled/bleached/injected with antibiotics and beef remnants. Highlight.
White Mill Inn – CarmarthenY Polyn is a unique building formerly a toll gate located on the junction of two country roads in the County of Carmarthenshire West Wales. It may look like an ordinary average isolated rural pub from the outside, but experienced chefs Maryann Wright and Susan Manson have made Y Polyn far from average. Together they cook simple food like rabbit terrine with peach & apricot chutney, fish pie, salt marsh lamb, welsh black beef, all of which are locally sourced. The enhanced flavour and quality of the food served certainly impressed us.The atmosphere is homely and totally relaxing, the bar which is run by husbands Mark Manson and Simon Wright has an excellent choice of wines also real ale locally brewed. The whole experience must not be missed and we consider it value for money which we are pleased to highly recommend.
Y Polyn Restaurant – CarmarthenThe Spread Eagle had one of the best customer relations I've ever experienced in a Public House!
Spread Eagle, The – CarmarthenHad a great welcome at the pub, the surroundings were all very clean and the toilets immaculate, food was first class, would call again!
Pantydderwen Tafarn – CarmarthenThe Railway Inn, Llanpumsaint is a place where you can enjoy home cooked meals as you wine and dine with your friends and family. You can enjoy a drink as their experienced staff tend to your requests. Mavis Bran, the head chef and owner, along with her assistant chef and team of waiters serve up a meal fit for a king. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone, but I would recommend that you book a table first as they can get rather crowded.
