This is a superb pub/restaurant providing real Welsh home-style cooking. At lunchtime and evening there is an extensive menu to choose from at reasonable prices. In my opinion this is one of the best places to eat in Carmarthenshire.

The Browns hotel doesn't actually cook the food it is cooked by the New Three Mariners next door, or it did when we ate there, both pubs offer excellent food at reasonable costs, the Browns hotel is more old world style pub, whereas the New Three Mariners is more modern I would recommend either of them

My Husband & I visit nearly every time we visit his parents in Llanelli, the landlady Marvis is very nice & welcoming, the food is outstanding every time we visit, The ambience is fantastic, I would recommend the Butchers to everyone that passes by. The staff are really polite, efficient. Compliments to the Chef & his team on the fantastic food you serve. You are a credit to the food industry. I am sure we will see you again soon. Thanks a million. X

This little pub in a small village just outside of Carmarthen on the main run to Cardiff is a real gem of a find. The food is fantastic but at prices that are no different to any other pub where you might just be served with 'pub grub'. It has a friendly Landlord and Landlady along with the bar and serving staff. It also has an affable Welshness which would please most travellers looking for a quaint well managed country pub. In the colder weather it also has that one feature that so many pubs lack....a beautiful log fire. A must place to go and a 'wonderful find'.

A good selection of fresh local produce was on offer, lots of one to one contact with staff and owner Mr Williams, fine selection of wines. Over all very impressed for a restaurant in the middle of the sticks run by a farmer cum chef! Well worth the time by stopping off for a meal.
