The "younger staff" were extremely helpful and attentive. Our table was booked for 1400hrs so we had a full choice of menu. My veggie roast was lovely.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyThe food and service are always good here but we were disappointed when we went for Sunday lunch to find that they had sold out of the slow cooked brisket of beef and that there was only one slice of turkey which was ordered as one of the alternative meals to the beef. After the main course we found that 50% of the deserts were also unavailable. Yes it was very busy but they must have known how many people were booked in
