This is a fantastic place for that special meal, have eaten here a few times and stayed at the hotel. The restaurant serves little extras, i.e. canapés, and teeny bowls of soup as appetisers, which are 'complimentary', lovely venue.

Excellent service provided by Chris - the very friendly assistant manager. Really great place to go to eat, and you must try those cocktails. We had one too many!

Although the decor is a bit basic Italian the food is always good. Great for an inexpensive mid-week meal out. Good selection of wines. Watch out for the flaming Sambuca's!

Ristorante Sergio – Chester

As it was a Saturday night I booked ahead to ensure a table for four but I think people were able to get seats of the street. The service and food were very good. I can recommend the Green Curry and Sweet & Sour King Prawn. All had starters, drinks main meals and coffees to finish. The cost was about £30/Head. We were there for about three hours so you don't fee rushed at all. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with this place. The food was excellent and whilst the prices aren't the cheapest they have a few special offers which can make it a bargain!

We went to their Sunday buffet and it was fantastic. You still get a good range of choices from their buffet menu and you get poppadoms, starters, rice, naan, main dish and side dish for about £6 per person! I definitely recommend it!

Four of us went to Moules a Go Go after the races in June. It was perfect after a hard days betting. Relaxed and comfortable, excellent food and very pleasant staff. Would definitely go again. Might try their lunch time specials. Well done Moules.

Had a pre-wedding meal here, and it was excellent. The food was superbly presented, wine selection was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Chez Jules

Went on a Tuesday night, as it's 2 courses and a bottle of wine each (!) for £14. The place was packed and had a great atmosphere. The food and service were excellent had mussels for starter and seabass for main and there? a good choice, pudding was £3 extra so had a lovely brulee. Would highly recommend but would advise booking as we just turned up at 8.30 & got the last table which was unfortunately right by the door

The whole evening was very rushed, but I suppose that is necessary these days, the food was excellent, though a bit minimal. I think they are trying to cater to too many people and the focus is on the door.

Upstairs At The Grill

Three friends and I dine out each and every Wednesday and have done so for the last 18mnts we have tried every restaurant we can think of and many more this is easily one of the top three along with the midland French Manchester and the moss nook nr Manchester airport. To begin with we had to ring a bell to be allowed access whereupon we were met by our two hosts and hostess for the evening. We have never encountered such personal service and great praise is heaped upon Isabella for this. I have to many fine words to say about this establishment and the journey from Manchester was well worth it our bill for five including two bottles of wine, cognacs and cigars averaged at about £40 per head where ever you are from and whatever your occasion give Neil and his team a ring and sample for yourself. A five star evening
