HUGE portions, great food and friendly service. 10/10
Asian Fusion – ChorltonI had a bad experience here. There service was good and the wine list also good. However I found the menu to be far too large and indicative of rushed cooking and a lack of fresh, seasonal ingredients. I had a chili pasta dish that was so hot it drowned out any other taste (eg £19 bottle of wine). And i'm not shy with chilli. My girlfriend had duck that was fatty and served with glacier cherries (the menu said fresh). The starters weren't up to much either. Shame cause its pricey too.
Lusitano – ChorltonWe've been three times this year and the service and food has been very good. The last time however (Fri 22 Feb) the service was slow and the food had been sat under a grill for some time before we received it, causing my gravy on bangers and mash to turn to a jam like consistancy. My girlfriends salmon had been burnt and dried by the grill. I think and hope this was a one off bad chef night as we will definitely return again in the future
Lead Station – ChorltonWe had a great meal at Asian Fusion on 23rd Feb.I followed other reader recommendations and was not disappointed. The service was excellent as was the meal- in great surroundings. We will definitely return and I have told all my friends !
Asian Fusion – ChorltonMEZZALUNA IS BRILLANT THE FOODS IS AS TASTE AS THE MANAGER !!!!!!!!!I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN A LONG TIME XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Lusitano – ChorltonDennis has to be one of the finest Turkish chefs.. his kofte kebabs are simply the best ever.. and his home made chilli sauce & tomato sauce are delicious and freshly prepared every day...
Turkish Delight – ChorltonMy friends and I went on Friday the 15/02. We had a wonderful meal, wonderful wine and guess what...... the service was wonderful! Top marks all round.
Lead Station – ChorltonI've been to Asian Fusion a few times since it opened. Evey time the food has been excellent. I especially like Granny Special Madras lamb or chicken, it has potato in it which soaks up the flavor of the sauce. Staff are friendly and you can get a vimto lolly on the way out.
Asian Fusion – Chorltonoh lucky people of Manchester, i do envy you as i have to travel 75miles return trip to enjoy this authentic brilliant Persian food experience - mind you Trafford centre not too far - so shopping is suddenly a desired option!!
Persia Grill House – ChorltonMyself and some friends were really looked after by friendly efficient staff. We went on a Saturday and it was really busy. The food was fabulous and we will definitely go again. Highly recommended!
Lead Station – ChorltonMy friends and I went to Yakisoba a couple of weeks ago and had a fantastic meal. Really good food and fantastic service all at really good prices.
Yakisoba – ChorltonJust returned from our first visit - definitely won't be our last!!!! Fantastic food/great value/lovely staff/good atmosphere/children welcome. If you haven't tried a trip here then you don't know what you're missing!!!
Persia Grill House – Chorltonanything but a Turkish delight, cheap poorly prepared food at top prices. after trying a selection of dishes , they all where very bland and tasteless. and the lamb shish undercooked. very poor indeed and ive tried most restaurants and take aways in Manchester. at least they serve you with a big smile before they over charge you. keep up the poor work or go back to turkey for some cooking lessons.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonWe visited after looking at the recommendations on this site with people who we wanted to create a good imrpression with. Our experience was not representative of the other reviews. Prehaps our expectation were too high. We visited on a Saturday evening, The downstairs was full and we were shown to our table upstairs. I can only assume that downstairs was reserved for the regular mainly Irainan cliental and eveyone else was seated upstairs. We waited forty minutes to have our order taken and we had to ask twice. Then we waited a further twenty minutes before we recieved our starters then we recieved our main course at 10.45 pm . We sat down at 9.oo pm. We were totally ignored as well as the other customers upstairs, In fact the table opposite walked out. When the food arrived it all looked the same even though we had ordered different things. Even so that the waitress couldnt tell the dishes apart when asked. We were so disappointed and embarassed in front of our guest. The only good point was the price. I'm sorry but those recommedations must be fixed.I am not one to complain but we were made to feel like second class customers upstairs.
Persia Grill House – ChorltonHave, or rather had, been going to the Lead Station for many years. The menu was never fancy but that wasn't the point - it did simple food well, and consistently so. With so may overrated eateries in Manchester it was one place you could always rely on. Its now changed hands and I'm afraid the food has gone downhill. The menu hasn't changed much (although there were no specials which used to feature) but the old favourites and new additions are on a theme - they don't taste of a single thing. The atmosphere is still O.K. although it seemed quieter than in days gone by. Coincidence? Not if he food is anything to go by. A great shame.
Lead Station – ChorltonThis old time classic has changed ownership. Trying so hard it is almost embarrassing. A try hard front of house, new menu and slight revamp, its is tedious. Staff look confused and don't go if you are in a rush or hungry
Lead Station – ChorltonWow! Fuel has been a fantastic discovery for me! The food is fantastic with a large choice and very reasonably priced. The veggie breakfast is gorgeous! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the cafe is cool and laid back with art work on the wall and posters of various musical events being hosted at fuel. An all round great veggie haunt!
Fuel Cafe Bar – ChorltonCharming and helpful service supported good value and very tasty food. How nice to have some different flavours and textures. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy without being crowded for a quite small restaurant. We shall return to work our way through the menu over the winter months.
