I have been to The Drop a handful of times and it never disappoints, one of my favourite restaurants! Food is delicious and so are the drinks, can't wait to go back!

Great food, the flavours are authentic..the cocktails are delicious and the restaurant it self was great. Music on point. 10/10 across the board. Staff were attentive but not over bearing. Just wish it was open a little later.

Over an hour wait for food kept being told it won’t be long people coming in after us getting food before us. Over cooked food and my wife’s food was that spicy she didn’t even eat it. I get it’s meant to be spicy but not the point that jerk chicken is that spicy you can’t eat it really disappointing first visit.

Our server was very kind and welcoming and helpful when we asked for recommendations. Huge portion sizes of delicious food, was expecting it to be spicier but imagine this is toned down for British pallets. This wasn't disappointing however, as the food was mildly spicy which only added to the flavour. Best jerk chicken I've had and I recommend the goat curry. cocktails were very fun and tasty. brownies made me ascend, I recommend highly.

We had a meal for 5 yesterday evening the hench box selection was amazing. Service was great, engaging helpful and attentive. We had an issue with one of the meals. Dealt with replaced them and there. Drinks were great the the Guinness punch was a blast. Will be back again

The server was not polite and seemed dismissive and not welcoming. It's a shame because the food tastes amazing. Have taken several friends here for the food but always complain about the service.

Omg the food was delicious. We had a Reggae Roast that was recommended and it didn't disappoint . It was so tasty and presented beautifully. I've been look for a macaroni cheese and this one was super tasty, the best I have found by far. We will definitely be back next time for the cocktails I've scored atmosphere low only cos we can midday Dunday and it was empty

Another tasty visit with my Jamaica Daddy…the only restaurant he loves going to for his ‘Jerk chicken’ fix! We live in London and bring him to the Drop Bar Cafe on every visit to Manchester. Served by the lovely Lilly this time…we’ll be back in 4 weeks!

Unfortunately, even though I have been a few times, tonight was my last. I tried ringing the restaurant around 6:30, tried twice, and had no answer. But this isn't a surprise as once I tried it about 10 times in a row and no one picked up and when I walked in it was dead.... anyway, so I went to book a table for tonight, and the website let me do it. It says on Google closes at midnight, but for the last table, it was 21:30. Well it's my mums birthday so I booked for 9 pm. Yes, I was 10 minutes late, but seeing as they never answer the phone, I cannot communicate this. Not only did I waste fuel for 14 miles but then to be turned away as the kitchen was closed. Surprising given the website let me book a table and Google says you close late..... also my mum hasn't tried this place and I kept hyping it up to my friends aswell. So you've lost customers through word of mouth. Considering on the strip it was the most dead place you'd think they'd have the custom.

We had to wait longer then normal due to a shortage of stuff but the food it’s taste and nice and the stuff was lovely. Wasn’t my first time and I will go back. The hence box are really good. The prawns were succulent. It’s a very nice place.

Food was 10/10 and possibly the best Caribbean food I've ever had. However, the service was absolutely shocking and the waiter serving us was so rude. When taking our order I asked him does the gravy come in a pot or on the food and he was so blunt and abrupt. If it wasn't for the food being so good I definitely wouldn't be returning. The service from staff lets it down massively, and after travelling 30 mins for it we were really disappointed.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch . The food was delicious, We had fish, rice, sweet potato fries and dumplings. The portions were substantial and we had a doggy bag. The fries were the best I’ve ever had. Our server was very pleasant and our compliments to the chef. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food. Just incredible. The nicest I’ve ever had. Fresh and tasty. Will be back !

Excellent food!

Went for my 18th Birthday meal and they first couldn’t sit any of us together but in the end they did. And then it took ages for the food to arrive and we still had tell them they was food missing what didn’t arrive.
