Very good food but not much on offer for vegetarians

Had a lovely time, food was great; service was prompt. The staff were polite and friendly. Atmosphere was fantastic and the decorations were modern. I recommend the lead station to everyone. Thank-you for having us.

Had a fab meal at the Persia grill last Saturday, staff were excellent, food was gorgeous, meat succulent and tender, and good size portions. Bring your own wine, but there is a 10% corkage charge definitely going back soon

Our office Christmas party was very enjoyable in the new decor of Turkish delight. The food was exceptional and on time even though the restaurant was very busy. The Service is of a high quality and everyone had an extremely good evening.

Always a favourite place to eat or just to pop in for a drink with friends.

Visited this restaurant several times since it opened approx 11 months ago and I have recommended it to all my friends and family. The food is always to a high standard/healthy. It just requires a little more sauce for me personally on the main courses I have had. It has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the owner, (Martene), and staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely rate this as my favourite Indian restaurant. Many thanks and see you soon!

I was pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment that is under way. The new lower floor has an excellent ambience complimented by a subtle charm of Turkey. The food was excellent, a varied menu to suit all palates, cooked to perfection as always. the service could not be faulted. A brilliant night out and Manchester? cuisine was complimented by our guests.

Sizzling chicken rocked my world. Ate so much I had to head straight home got a lovely garlicky lie down.

Excellent starters were followed by the most succulent and perfectly cooked chicken, shish kebab and superb lamb chops. Complimented by fresh salads, rice, warm pitta bread and eye watering chilli sauce. We drunk a bottle of Turkish red wine that set the whole meal off very well. Price was a touch under fifty pounds for two which represents very good value for cooking that is this good.

Best curry I've had in ages - definitely lives up to what they say on the website - not greasy but still really tasty and some dishes you don't find in all curry houses. Only had takeaway but staff were friendly. Definitely don't be put off by the slightly strange bright green exterior.

During the last few years I've probably eaten at 30 or more Indian restaurants in the Greater Manchester area and i can safely say this is my favourite. The Vindaloo is the tastiest curry I?e ever eaten. My other half loves the garden curry (the one with mint in it)! The staff are really friendly and it's well priced. The only problem is that it's 2 minutes walk from my house and the temptation to eat 7 curries a week is enormous.

Had to try this restaurant after 30 years going to the Azad manzil next door. And wow it was superb. Fantastic value, the veggie' banquet for 2,great service and beautifully prepared. Will be hooked on this restaurant. Thank you K E P.

This is overall my favourite restaurant in Manchester. I go all the time (no association) and the food is consistently good. My partner and I always get excited about going and have never been disappointed yet. The beauty of it is that while the price remains competitive we always feel like its great value for money. Yum yum, my mouth is watering just thinking of it and the rice is the best I've ever had! Regards Buckeejit

Wasn't so sure when we first arrived as it doesn't look much from the outside ~ but don't be put off. The food was excellent, with interesting and tasty veggie options for my girlfriend, and the service was friendly and inviting. Had stopped eating Indian food as most of the meals i have had locally have left me feeling ill and/or have not been particularly tasty or enjoyable. This was a real eye-opener. Wonderful, tasty food that wasn't too oily. Although we live a good 60min drive away, would definitely go again. Thanks.

Excellent food and good service. the food was tasty, looked fresh and appetising and the chef was careful about using oil. Being a Bangladeshi restaurant the sauces were slightly sweeter than they would be in a Pakistani or Indian place which actually made the curries more interesting and different. The lamb sizzler in particular was mouth-watering!

Undoubtedly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The food was fresh and extremely well prepared with some very unique and authentic dishes on the menu. Thanks for a great night with friendly and informative service.

The staff were nice & friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was very good indeed. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to go back there again!

After reading the reviews I had to try. A bit out of the way, opposite Southern cemetery. But the food is outstanding. I went with my husband and 4 children. Sunday the 13/08/06 early evening we were the only ones in, but the door and phone never stopped there must of been 20 take outs while we were there. That speaks for itself on a Sunday. Anyway had the banquets for 2 and 4 children? meals and wine £51.00 yes £51.00 beautiful friendly people. Excellent value and the food was just as it says on the web no greasy curries, all fresh produce go give it a try you will not be disappointed beats all other curry houses in the area. And loads of veggie curries and side orders. Will be back next week.
