Fantastic food quality and menu selection, service was amazing, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable table waiting service. They evening ordered us a taxi back to our hotel. Really pleased I made a reservation and will definitely be back again.

Lovely seafood restaurant in Clifton Village. One of our favourite lances to visit. Very down to earth with high quality food and service. We shared a seafood platter with mussels, large prawns, scallops and the butter garlic sauce was divine.

Good food Great choices for Vegetarians too, that surprised me alot Thank you for accommodating.

We have been regular diners at Fishers for almost 20 years and it is one of the best restaurants in Bristol for both fish/seafood and gluten free options. The fish and chips is superb and it’s the only place I can get a fresh 5 star gluten free version. We have had so many brilliant meals here. The service is always friendly.

We are (Belgian) foodies used to particular tasty and quality food from Belgium. Finding food places where we like to treat ourselves are few and far between. (there are occasions we drive a couple of hours just to our favourite place) This is why we were so happy with our visit to Fishers. (which we consider it to be next door to where we live) The food was exquisite and this will become a regular for us. Thank you to the Cook and the ones who buy the fresh produce. Visited last night with friends, thoroughly enjoyable meal, service slow but food as always delicious.

My fiancee and I had a lovely dinner here yesterday. It's a place we've been meaning to try for a while, and knowing that it's closing down we had to try it. We're really glad we did and are just sad we won't be able to come back!

We eat a lot of fish in the UK but we don't do fish restaurants very well. Fishers proves that we can - it's a cosy, friendly restaurant with excellent service, good atmosphere and, most importantly, fantastic food where the fish is the star. If you love fish and are in Bristol it has to be Fishers!

Table of 6, seated upstairs. Friendly staff. Bit of a shambles. One starter forgotten, one main completely wrong, 2 cocktails forgotten. The food was delicious. We were served by lots of different staff. Who were apologetic . The problem would appear to be they don’t have designated tables to look after so it’s all a bit chaotic, also upstairs gets forgotten. Would love to enjoy the food again but will ask for a table downstairs.

The food, as always, was excellent and everything being gluten free was great. It felt like there was less choice than normal. And the restaurant felt less cosy. Upstairs felt a bit cold and unloved and the lighting a bit stark. That said, it is still my favourite fish restaurant. One of the other reviews mentions it may be closing, if true that might explain the feeling of being unloved, and it will be missed.

Had dinner with some friends mid week. Restaurant was steady but not too busy. Staff were really friendly and engaging, offering recommendations and chatting with the customers. Food was really tasty and clear plates all around. Nice location, close to a number of other bars and local buisnesses.

As stated to our waitress we were disappointed at the temperature of the food and the slowness of the service. Such a shame as previously we have raved about you.
