Really friendly welcome and the staff are lovely.... Im there tomorrow night for my birthday meal....... really lovely food..... looking forward to my meal tomorrow night....... :)

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I found it very expensive especially for the amount of food you got. I asked for my main course to take away and when I got home the amount of food, let alone chicken in it was miserable and actually looked like I had eaten half of it.. Will definitely not be returning for a second disappointment.

We eat out here almost every saturday evening .

One of the best Indian dining experiences I've had in a while. Maximum attention is given to making the customer is happy, food service is swift but most of all the quality and taste of the food is worth returning for over and over again. Of course, let's not forget - prices are very fair considering the generous portions and the lengths taken to present the food elegantly. Bravo!

Having been a regular customer for quite a time we were very dissappointed with our a la carte lunch the other day. It appears that the Chef/Proprietor was away and as a result the food both starters and main was undercooked and substandard. Difficult to tell the difference between a partridge starter and a grouse main course as both drowned with dressings and served rare. Will only return if and when chef is on duty.

Pleasant surroundings, friendly service, excellent wines, but distinctly average food.

we call in at the Buck regularly on our way to the lake district and it is well worth the visit. THE friendliest pub/restaurant i have ever been to, the food is excellent, quality and quantity! you will never leave this pub disappointed but i would advise you to book, it is VERY popular!

Had a fabulous time at Maxwells. Nice sunny day so sat on the roof terrace. Two of us shared a bottle of Prosecco and a Mezze sharing plate. Good food, good service and great atmosphere. Just across from the train station too.

Excellent as always. Pino and his staff never fail to deliver anything but excellent service. The food as always was fantastic!!!

We had been before, so we didn't expect to enjoy it as much as our first visit over 2 years since.. We were wrong! The surroundings were fantastic despite the inclement weather. The staff were very cheerful and friendly, the service could not be faulted, the food was fantastic, and not over priced. We will definitely go again.

Thanks guys for a great dinner and of course the fantastic service. Looking forward to doing it again. Whether its a fresh made pizza takeaway or a full three course meal the food is always delicious.

I have been to la vespa many times over the past 12 months and tried many different dishes and the food is always fantastic no matter how busy or quiet it is .The staff are very friendly and service is fantastic been to all the restaurants in clitheroe and this one is the best by far . KERRY

Excellent. Have eaten several times and it always impresses with outstanding seasonal food. Stunning value for money, especially midweek lunch. Although we are 30 miles away, this is our favourite place to eat and look forward to our next visit.

Dined here at lunch last week. Had a really excellent 3 course meal with real finesse. Wines to match each course and great service. The place has won awards for its refurb and rightly so. Even though we live about 40 mins away we will return as often as possible.

The main courses took a further 45 minute and in one case over salted. Then complained about we where told that we where wrong and luckily we would not be charged for it. A further 30 minutes before they consider bring over the dessert menu. They should remember who is paying their bills and who are giving them the best advertisement. Greatly disappointed by the customer service. Fine not all meals are to everyone's tastes but never tell the customer that they are wrong. Because they are going to tell that story to their friends and colleagues.
