This was our second visit to St Ives in a year, and it was a shame we did not discover this cracking restaurant/bar previously! The young Waiting and Bar staff were a joy, and the food was simply fantastic! The Thai seafood green curry dish was as good as you'd get in Thailand (I know!) and overall, a very good meal was had by six of us. Downstairs in the bar, the young guy behind the bar went out of his way to find a Kelly Slater surf video, just to please my wife! excellent, and we will be back next year.

The Greenhouse is a wonderfully friendly, unpretentious organic restaurant with really delicious food. We plan to return when we are next in Cornwall.

The Earl of Chatham has lost it's way! Used to be a decent pub but the new landlord seems to have run it right down. As an indication of just how quiet it is these days, I was in the King's Arms on Saturday, and the landlord and landlady came in for a drink around 10.00pm!! They must have closed early!

Friendly with a good atmosphere. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced especially sunday lunch.

We were recommended this bar from the very helpful chaps in the wine shop next door. And they were as spot on with their wine recommendations as they were with this place. I had a crab sandwich on foccacia - and it was possibly the best meal I've eaten all year; and that was just a sandwich. My husband had a cheese on granary bread and again it was done as a cheese sandwich should be, good bread and good cheese. Both served with home made tortilla chips. If this is what they can do with sandwiches, I can't wait to try their main meals the next time we're in Falmouth.

Without doubt the best Indian Restaurant in Truro. Food is full of flavour and the staff are attentive. Plus you can BYO wine which keeps cost down.

Have enjoyed the finest cooked Sardines ever, at The Navy. Keep going back for more. Spratts are even more enjoyable. Rob Harding.

Couldn't fault the place, just popped in for a quick bite to eat after walking the dog on the beach (just across the road) and ended up having three courses!! The squid, seabass and the honeycomb parfait dessert I had were all PERFECT, the best I've had in Cornwall... if not the UK, for a very long time. Waiting staff definitely went the extra mile and despite being fairly busy gave us a real sense of the personal touch. Not the cheapest place in Falmouth but worth every penny, highly recommended!

Nice place and good food. I thought it was a little pricey for what it was, but enjoyed the visit all the same.

You are probably wondering why anyone would comment on a Pizza Express, after all, you know you are going to get before you even walk through the door. BUT The views in this place are something else! This has to be the best spot in the town.

I was really disappointed after taking up a recommendation to visit this place. The staff were uninterested, the chips were literally bathed in oil - about half an inch of it, I kid you not! - and the fish was nothing special. My recommendation - make the effort and drive up to Padstow to Rick Stien's place - it's worth it!

Great restaurant - lovely staff - gorgeous wine..........and the rooms above are pretty near perfect too. This is a really well kept secret!

I stayed here once. It was not good! Enough said.

Had lunch here today and it was absolutely superb. The location is idyllic as the bar/restaurant looks over Trevaunance Cove. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
