It's clear that the Odds team has worked very hard to get this place 'just right', and they've done it. We've been twice now, and it's definitely worth the drive. Yes, it's a little bit more expensive than your usual haunt, but your money is spent on you, not on the owners holiday home!!... the quality of ingredients are 5* as are the kitchen and front-of-house staff. Placing Odds in the same category as Stein and Outlaw and the prices start to look very reasonable indeed. Having virtually all wines available by the glass is a fantastic idea, particularly as someone has to be driving. Oh, and if you feel the side dishes to accompany your meal are too small...just ask and you'll get plenty more. A true Cornish restaurant using the best of local seasonal ingredients...what more can you ask for?

Visited 2nd August 2008. Really fresh ingredients and complementary flavours make the food here both delicious and interesting. The menu is small and unpretentious and cooked and served by the calmest, most efficient and friendly team in a kitchen open for all to see. We very much hope we'll be able to visit again.

We discovered this place by accident and were absolutely blown away. The food is fairly priced and lovingly cooked, and without doubt was one of the best meals I have ever had. It's just a shame we only stumbled across it on the last night of our stay. Will be going back as soon as possible though!

Visited for the second year in succession and had another fabulous meal. Everything beautifully cooked and presented with fresh ingredients. Service was excellent as before and portion sizes are generous so could only manage ice cream for dessert this time, will definitely eat less during the day to save space for a "proper" pudding next time.

Fantastic locally sourced food. We first experienced Sunday lunch and have returned many times including for a evening meal. The food is faultless and the environment casual and friendly. Sunday lunch is better value and better prepared than any pub lunch and like a previous reviewer said well worth the trip

The worst restaurant I have ever been to! The food was atrocious and very expensive for what it was. A complete rip off. The staff are friendly but if you are looking for edible food, stay away!

well after ordering 6 main courses which all proved to be horrible i strongly advise people to take there custom elsewhere. the fish dishes sampled were over cooked. lemon sole's distinctive flavour was lost through over cooking. meat dishes like lamb shank should be avoided as the fish flavour comes into the dishes as they are prepared in the same areas. vegetables were overcooked or undercooked. seasoning had to be asked for as the food is very bland. the service is very slow taking an hour and a half for a main course. a beetle was on the floor suggesting poor hygiene standards.

The food is quite simply sublime. My fellow diners, adults and youngsters, were literally moaning with pleasure. Book soon! you will not regret it.

I can honestly say eating at the Cornish Deli was the best meal I have ever had- the food was amazing, the atmosphere was so relaxed, and Mark and his team made the evening such a pleasure. Also, Cornish Blue Cheese and Cornish wine are impossible to find anywhere else!

What can I say? The restaurant's setting is inspired, the service impeccable and the food is sublime. Book without delay!

Without question the best food in st martins The new chef is a star in the making and i would highly recommend paying a visit. The fish in particular is awesome

What a pretentious cafe, with surly rude staff! Shouted at me because I had the audacity to bring in a buggy, Therefore would advise management that the back to front sign on the front door is a bad idea... Overpriced food I mean £9.95 for an Egg Mayo sandwich even if it "does come buttered" and with packet of crisp!!!!! and £4.50 for a smoothie..would have to be a whole weeks portion of fruit for that price Better to go up the road to the delightful "The Rock Bakery" where they not only charge £1.95 for said sandwich, they also have some yummy pasties and cakes.....Although they would benefit from tables and chairs outside as eating in the car does leave lots of crumbs....

The food was superb and very reasonable. The waitress could not have been more helpful. Great atmosphere, great location and great food.

We went for a meal on a Monday evening and it was very quiet. Only two other tables occupied. we were greeted by very friendly staff and given a bowl of prawn crackers , got drinks etc. Had all you can eat buffet. A little surprised to find out it wasn't exactly the kind of all you can eat buffet I was used to. We had to select from 2 starters, one main, one vegetable/side order and one rice or noodles. The food was OK there was plenty of it albeit we didn't get the rice we asked for and were given mixed vegetables when we didn't order it. We only managed to eat what we were given and we were stuffed. Overall not a bad experience. £12.95 for the buffet.

Had dinner at The Glasshouse, what has happened there, food has gone right down hill. Very boring pie and over cooked pizza. What happened to all the nice fish

This is a brilliant restaurant. This very old building has a perfect position right on the harbour and the restoration has been simply, but tastefully done. The menu - a lot of the ingredients being of Cornish origin - is fabulous. Traditional dishes are beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. There is an excellent wine list. All this is topped off by efficient and charming waitress service. For a relaxed evening with delicious food, you could not do better.

June 2008 - I stumbled across this great little restaurant, with a wonderful atmosphere with fab staff offering a superb service and fantastic home made food, using local products, great price and terrific value for money, but most of all the food tasted wonderful.

Excellent food & friendly but efficient service. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Even though the Saturday we visited was a busy evening, the quality of food and standard of service was very good, so much so we visited again twice in the same week!
