I recently visited Chantek with my wife and eighteen-month old son and had a fantastic meal. They found us a quiet corner and made us all feel very much at home. There was a perfect menu for our little one (he LOVED the food and the staff LOVED him!!) and we were spoilt for choice, too. We were both amazed by the spicy Thai papaya salad with lime juice, dried shrimps, chili and green papaya. I also really enjoyed the tom yum soup with prawns. It's the kind of dish that could ward off the nastiest of flu bugs, with its hit of ginger and chillies - clean, hot and fresh flavours. Mains included a sublime Thai curry and a Chili Beef from the specials board made with prime Cornish Beef. I'd recommend Chantek to anyone heading down to Cornwall (in fact, we've already spread the word as far round our hotel as we could manage!). The food is great, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly and the space is lovely.

It's not often that you find a restaurant where you want to try everything, but that's what we discovered on holiday in St Ives. St Andrew's Street Bistro offers the freshest ingredients, expertly cooked and presented. It was so difficult to choose that we had to return the following night to sample more of the imaginative menu. Their prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere comfortable and welcoming, and the service friendly. What more could you ask!

This is a lovely pub with great food. The only problem is the 'family room', it's like sitting in a giant shed. No atmosphere and quite cold. Otherwise this place is a real treat!

Used this place regularly on our holiday. Great place for good food while in hayle, cornwall. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

My wife and I live in St. Keverne and when the Leoni and Neil opened their Greenhouse Organic Restaurant we could hardly believe such exciting menus could be found right here on our doorstep. We wasted no time in becoming frequent diners with them and since then we have had the pleasure of sampling some of the most delicious and imaginary dishes available in this area - or anywhere else for that matter. They must be the most hospitable hosts we have ever met. We are fortunate indeed.

we recently got married in Truro and whilst browsing the Internet to find suitable venue to take our guests who had travelled down from Lancashire to celebrate with us we came across Tabbs. We had no prior knowledge of Nigel & his reputation but on contacting him he went out of his way to help us with our menu etc. On arriving at Tabbs the whole party was bowled over with the decor & we all agreed that the food was he best we had ever tasted anywhere. A big THANKYOU to Nigel & his staff for making our day extra special. We will definitely be visiting him on our anniversary.

The Globe is a great pub, however, in terms of food it's all going a bit pear shaped! The attention to detail has been lost and the prices are through the roof. It used to be my favourite eatery in Lostwithiel, now days I never eat there! Shame!

We were looking for a place to take some old friends, food was superb, all the typical English food but done in a very trendy style, and beautifully cooked. Atmosphere was great and we were all impressed. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Will definitely go there again.

Firstly, the staff were very good at making us feel very welcome from when we arrived until we left. The food? We recently ate out at a celebrity chef's restaurant and seriously thought it couldn't get any better. The food at Nansloe Manor was to prove us wrong, and to think it's only on our door step. The meat (Wood Pigeon, Lamb Chump and Duck) was cooked to perfection and the seasonal vegetables were out of this world. The price was a bit more than we would normally pay to be honest, but worth every penny. We'll definitely be back for more as soon as we can.

Not a good restaurant and cannot be recommended. We had a meal here in mid September 2008 and were served with a very poor meal, for which we were overcharged. The food is supposed to be home cooked but it was obvious that it had been purchased from a supermarket and served on a plate. Very disappointing.

We ate here with our two children aged 10 and 7 on 04/09/08 and could find no fault! The cooking, service, ambience and prices were superb. This was excellent produce cooked simply and well - no complicated or overly elaborate techniques, the food was able to truly shine. I recommend that you book in advance and do not visit the region without visiting the Greenhouse - I only wish we lived closer!

We holiday on the Lizard every summer and visit The Greenhouse everytime! Fantastic interesting food, unfussy service and friendly towards kids. Wish we lived nearer!

Excellent - I can find no fault! Our meal was superb in a gorgeous modern and airy restaurant where our children of 10 and 7 were made equally welcome. I would really recommend exploring all of the trelowarren estate as it has much to offer - a walk to the 'Halliggye Fogou'is a must (take a torch!) we stayed in one of their cottages for the week and everything was perfect - I didn't want to leave!

I practically lived here through-out the summer and could not have been happier. The food was quite spectacular (especially the pizza, which is made fresh on site and cooked on one of those stone ovens... authentic mmmmm!) and the general atmosphere was delightful. Lastly i must recommend the hot chocolate. The perfect pick me up on a cold, wet, 'typically cornish' summers evening. Visit if your in the area!!

Our friends have been raving about this restaurant so we thought we had better check it out for ourselves. We were very impressed. My husband said it was the best steak he had eaten for a long time and I thought the fish and chips were the best I'd eaten outside of NZ!! Friendly, relaxed and very tasty - what more could one want.
