Excellent food, by far the best in Truro. Lovely restaurant, great wines and good service. Would highly recommend the fish on the blackboard. Maybe some online info/a website would be a good investment as it took a while to find any details after being recommended the restaurant by a friend. We'll be back for sure.

Had a great meal at Chantek last night. Extensive menu was almost to big to make a choice from with so many things I wanted to try. In the end I had DimSum and Kari Seafood. Both were excellent. I'm no dim sum expert but it was very tasty. The seafood was fresh the sauce just the right amount of kick. A side of pad pad veggies was just a bit to much but was well cooked. The place was nicely buzzy for a weekday night too. Lived up to its reputation very well.

Windswept Cafe is out of this world. Sitting out on the terrace over the beach watching the surf and you just want to be there all year round watching the skies and the seas.It is a very very special place. Fantastic meals ,cakes that you cannot resist, great staff, modern decor, local art expo's, such a pity I live 8 hours away, can't wait to get back to that magical place.

A contemporary restaurant with a comfortable warm atmosphere. Food is good quality service is quick, not hurried. somewhere to feel a little special, without breaking the bank

Some of the dishes are better then others and the level of service/attitude varied. I wouldn't go back in a hurry, although that's difficult as it's the only curry house in the area.

Kegen Teg is a surprising find in St Just, as it is a funky little cafe with good music and a good selection of fresh juices and smoothies. It's great to find somewhere that uses good quality local food. I had the nettle and leek soup which was lovely and will go back to check out the falafel platter. They also do a selection of gourmet burgers which sound pretty good too. Highly recommended

Terrific bar, lovely atmosphere in a beautiful old building. The staff are lovely, even the security men on Friday night were so pleasant and friendly that we forgot that they were security guards.

I have eaten at Peppers on about 5 occasions now and have always had a fantastic meal. The menu is varied with many pasta and pizza dishes and lots of specials. The service is always excellent, with friendly staff and there is always a nice relaxed atmosphere. It is refreshing to have great food in a nice restaurant that isn? pretentious!

The prices were a bit high but the food was brilliant and up to the standard i expected. The waitresses made me feel welcomed and the quality of wine and food was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone who is staying around this area.

Fantastic place open less than a year, best view of Fistral, and a superb place for a glass of wine to watch the sunset which happens right in front of you! Went there on Friday evening, when the tide was right in, underneath the balcony crashing against the steps to the beach below us; absolutely spectacular! The staff treated us like human beings and their menu looks delicious. We will return!

I've been taken here a couple of times since the new chef (Brett) took over and it's been really good each time. I love the whole thing but my favourites are the puddings - particularly the cappuccino creme brulee! I'll be back!

i dined at Cribbs on Saturday 12th and was very impressed. The food was superb and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. I had the Hor d'oeuvres to start with and then had the monkfish dish, which looked amazing, which matched the taste, i would strongly recommend if in Falmouth that you check this place out. Such excellent quality food and service for a sensible price. Did the developers at Carlyon Bay know Brett was coming, or were they just lucky that they are close to this restaurant? I look forward to many more visits, and not just on those special occasions.

We had our wedding reception at the edge in May 2007. Everyone will say that there wedding was perfect but ours really was! That is very much thanks to Penny (the manager) Ben (the Chef) and the rest of the team. We booked the restaurant on the basis of the reviews we had seen on the internet. We are not locals and so it was very much hit and miss how it would go. 23 very happy and contented wedding guests left the edge after our reception. There wasn't a mumble or grumble to be heard. the food and service were excellent. If the staff know that you are celebrating they will really pull out the stops. A special place for our special day - we will certainly be back

My wife and I were recommended to Austells restaurant by friends who had recently been there. We were overwhelmed by the experience. Everything was perfect. The service you could not falter. The food was the best we had ever eaten and we have eaten in some fantastic restaurants around the world. I really like the choice of wines. Everybody has their likes and dislikes concerning wines. If everybody liked the same, we would not want a choice. Their wine list suited us, and in my opinion was not expensive. We felt it was worth the 32 mile round trip to go there and will certainly be going back.

my husband and I went to Austells last week, the food was to die for, everything very fresh and home made, the staff were very polite and friendly and made us feel very special. we will certainly be going again and telling all our friends

I only have praise for this restaurant. The food, service and surroundings all of the highest quality. Brett (the chef) has created a really high class and varied menu. If you are in the vicinity you must book a table, you will not be disappointed.
