Yet again another nice meal and friendly service will be coming again

My family and I have not been to the old crown for Sunday lunch for about 18 months. We had a lovely lunch food was piping hot fresh vegetable it was all absolutely beautiful. And the staff could not do enough for you . And may I also say with an elderly mother. How kind they all are. Well done.

Visited on Sunday for the cavery lovley food good service the only one fault they had no ice that has been twice now .

An excellent meal (as always , never been served a disappointing experience yet ) and that was echoed by our guests who were on first time visit there and will definitely be back again.

Shame we could not have had a hot meal because of the severe hot weather but made sense to close the kitchen , The meal we had in its place was very nice and the service was very good as usual

A fantastic home cooked Sunday lunch. It doesn't get any better than this. Really good value and lots of choices. Well done, we will continue to visit.

Great friendly pub with good menu selection of ‘pub grub’ and Sunday roast. I have eaten here on many occasions with large family group and found the staff very helpful and food of a good standard and great value for money.

2 more excellent meals on Saturday evening. Rump steak was especially good. Never rushed but no long waits for food.

First time here recommend by my neighbour brilliant service and excellent customer service food was very good and did not have to wait more than 10 mins between courses drinks very competitive and mice atmosphere 5 star well to all the staff

We ate at The Old Crown last night. The staff were friendly - we had a choice of where to sit and the atmosphere was really nice. The food was excellent - we had pate and mushrooms on bruschetta to start and both had gammon for mains. Everything was delicious - beautifully presented and value for money. The hot dishes were served nice and hot. We would thoroughly recommend you visit. We saw they do a lunchtime special 12-3pm 2 courses £10. We are going to try that out next time.

My family and I went for Sunday carvery yesterday and I have to say that it was by far THE best I have ever eaten !!! Everything was home cooked and fresh . The giant yorkies were something else. All the staff were wonderful. We then finished our afternoon off on the beautiful garden where there is a lovely play area for t he kids. My 4 year old loved it that much he asked this morning if he could go back there for his birthday in Aug!
