We booked a table for a lunchtime meal yesterday with friends for the first time. We were looked after by a lovely lady (sorry I don't know her name) from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she checked everything was ok several times during our stay. She had a great rapport with all her customers and made our lunch even more enjoyable. We all had different meals, all of which were really tasty and well presented. We would definitely recommend The Old Crown to others and hope to see you again soon, thank you.

Food was delicious as usual. We were served by Sharon who was run off her feet but still managed to make my little boy feel special. Carvery meat & veg was perfectly cooked

Went to the crown for Sunday carvery with my daughter, it was very nice the service from Sharon was excellent nothing was to much trouble , she has great people skills will definitely go again in the future

Lovely family friendly pub with a play area outside for the kids, food is delicious and the staff excellent. We’re lucky to have such a lovely pub within walking distance from our house.

Food and srevice always extremely good and great value. Food always hot straight from kitchen but carvery on both occassions has not been hot enough.

We book most Sundays for a carvery and always welcomed with a big smile off members if staff who work extremely hard to make sure your visit is meeting your requirements,Nothing is ever a problem for them to help you with your needs and the food is amazing which is why we keep coming back, We've tried lots of places in the past for Sunday lunch but this place tops them all in every way, Homecooked sunday lunch with biggest yorkies and never been disappointed,We are shortly going to be moving to Cornwall and are gonna miss this place lots

The food is always very good and the staff are very friendly and all way got time to ask how you are and make sure everything is good with your food

Really lovely pub and good food

not up to normal standard..ordered rump steak Med to well done arrived in 2 pieces medium not cooked in middle sent it back..new steak arrived cooked to my requirements but only half the size of original steak.... ordered eton mess for desert unfortunately could`nt find the méringue... when we mentioned to waitress ..went back to chef answer from Chef Oh we are taking it off the menu !!!! this is not the usual standard for the old crown
