We visited on a Sunday for a Family Birthday celebration. 11 of us in total (9 adults & 2 children). Due to work commitments it was quite a late booking for Sunday Lunch (5:30) but the Carvery was still available and there was an excellent choice of meats and vegetables on offer. Some of the party chose to eat from the menu instead of the Carvery, so every taste was catered for. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much and the service was brilliant from arrival to departure. Especially Sharon who looked after us all so well and made us feel very much at home. Thank you

Have been many times for Sunday lunch and absolutely love the food, I have never had a bad meal from the old crown the staff are so lovely and friendly would highly recommend thanks guys

We have driven past The Old Crown for many years,and never ventured inside,however our daughter recommended it to us and we visited last Friday afternoon.We were not disappointed,and we will be regular patrons from now on.The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.

We were really looking forward to eating at Aqua to try something a bit different but we were sadly disappointed. Starter was ok but the main course was not enjoyable at all. Drinks were way over priced and we selected a non alcoholic rose from the menu and not even the right bottle turned up with no explanation/apology. At £18.50 I was expecting something really nice. The first glass was ok but the second left a bad after taste. Sadly my partner did not want me to complain.

Food was deliciously homemade and plentiful, service was excellent, lovely friendly welcome which continued all the way through. Thank you for a lovely lunchtime.

First visit but won’t be put last, lovely Sunday Carvery everything really fresh and super Yorkshire puds, very friendly chef serving it, lovely helpful staff, we will definitely be going again. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

For us, eating out is as much about the people we meet as the food. We really like it here. Lovely food and fabulous chef but equally lovely service. All colleagues are great. We’ve never had a bad meal here.
