Christine and I are always assured of a fine welcome.To be served in such a friendly way by Debbie and Dave makes it a real pleasure.An added bonus Christine likes to browse among the clothes and jewellery etc.. We will keep returning.

Spent a lovely evening at Her Citi recently at one of the acoustic music nights they put on. Great food, a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and quirky, fun decorations! Looking forward to visiting again, and can only recommend it to anyone that hasn't been.

We visited your inn yesterday with friends on their recommendation. We were looking forward to having a fabulous meal but were disappointed at the level of the music at 6:00 Saturday evening. Our friend asked for the music to be lowered so that we could enjoy our meal. This was not lowered to make any difference. We saw people walking out. No one came to take our order and when we realised that the music was not going to be lowered to an acceptable level we also left. That was the valued customer level of 6 folks walking out. I see that you are recommended by CAMRA but am afraid you have fallen in our estimation. We were visitors to Cumbria and were looking forward to a lovely fish meal as the lady above and our friends had said that you do fish and chips to die for. Your comments would be welcomed. We had to finish our pint in double quick time as we could not enjoy the atmosphere of the pub. Particularly as I wear hearing aids and found the noise to be quite depressing. Regards Pauline Julian

A delightful discovery on our recent day trip to Maryport. The ambience is warm and welcoming. The style is quirky. The quality is excellent. The experience is memorable. We only wish we were locals and could become regulars!

just had a great Burns night in Herciti last Saturday with 3 course meal and entertainment-all superb.Regularly call in for light bites and home made cakes-just gorgeous!

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and we really enjoy the themed evenings (especially during the Blues Festival and the Mexican evening). Debbie also catered at our wedding, which went down really well- the home-made food was really popular.

Sunday Dinner & Evening Meal

Me and my husband went to this hotel for our wedding anniversary, the food was excellent, very generous portions. The staff are very pleasant and always had a smile on there faces. Will be bringing the rest of the family with us next time. Really enjoyed it.

The Fish and Chips here are to die for. Beautiful fresh fish with nice chips and mushy peas. I called in here at 2.45pm asking what time they closed, 3pm said the barman, but it's not a problem, we will stay open and cook for you. Brilliant service and I shall be calling back each time I'm in Maryport.

absolutely fabulous, the chips are home made, try the famous grill during the maryport blues festival, its just what you need to get you back on your feet marra......this spot is always packed out!
