A great village pub. I stayed here when in Dent for the weekend. The room was nice, the food was good and their beer was excellent. They own Dent Brewery up the road. Right in the heart of this historic village. We did a great 10 mile walk from the door up Yorkshires highest peak Whernside. They take dogs too which was a bonus.

Really love pubs like this. Like stepping back in time. A proper historical Cumbrian pub. Great beer, food and atmosphere. We ate 2 days on the trot. The Village of Dent is just like the pub, its cobbled street leads to its door!

Bad Bob

Great pub restaurant with rooms in Sedburgh. Taken over by a couple who ran restaurants in Manchester and have brought that contemporary city vibe to a country coaching Inn. Loved my Hereford Beef pie for lunch. Rooms are great with awesome bathrooms

What a great find. Had never been to Sedbergh before and this place just looked the most welcoming from outside. Correct decision as this place really ticks all the boxes. Moral of the tale - always judge a book by the cover!

This traditional Tea Room/Café is just wonderful! It’s very welcoming with well thought out lighting a decor. The deep pile carpet just makes it even more cosy than it already looks from the outside. They have a great selection of light snacks and meals on the very reasonably priced menu to suit most requirements. I would highly recommend it - Keep up the good work!

Excellent food and accommodation.

I don't eat that many pies, however the one I had here was without doubt the best I've ever had! The "boho"interior and decor make a welcome change from the tradional or corporate chain look. Its a great place for walking as well!
