Booked a table for myself/husband and brother in law, we all had the Sunday roast , the staff were all very polite and always had a smile for us, the food was excellent and so was the Apple pie with custard also chocolate fudge cake, will definitely go back.

A lovely pub,Nice Sunday beef roast food was cooked to perfection.the beef was perfect,staff were spot on,couldn't do enough for you.

First time visit since reopening lovely food good choices on specials menu great service n value for money only 1 minor gripe the seating in the restaurant area was a tad cramped and not set out as good as it could have been but as said this was a minor will be back very soon Thanks to all the staff for a good experience

We were made to feel very welcome by Zoe and her team. The meal was delicious and great to see a good selection of specials. Particularly loved the sauce with the black pudding starter!

Second time visiting since reopening - fantastic both times! Knowledgeable consideration given to my dietary requirements, (Gluten Free). Food was delicious, - chef even brought some surplus sauce out to me, which was a definite added bonus! All the staff were lovely and the views spectacular. A friend travelled from Manchester to join me and it was well worth her while. Thank you, we will be back.

Great food and great Staff. Nothing was too much trouble including getting our disabled Granddaughter a cushion, Thank you. In fact we love The Rock so much we’ve been back a few times this last couple of weeks and is now our Granddaughters fave place to sit relax and eat.

My wife and I had lunch mid-week at The Bank for my Birthday. It was our second visit and, as before, the food was absolutely amazing. The service is brilliant, everything is spotless, all staff are very friendly - nothing feels too much trouble, and there is a lovely welcoming atmosphere. This is rapidly becoming our go-to place.
