First meal out since lockdown for me and my husband. We both had the Cajun chicken burger and fries and it was amazing. Drinks wise not much choice of beers for husband as he likes dark ales and I asked for non alcohol cider and was told that it was sold out. Not a big deal and sure more choice will come in time. During the meal nobody came to check if the food was ok or if we wanted more drinks which they do at most other places. Whilst leaving we said thank you to the two staff at the bar but only one acknowledged and replied . Again not a big deal but to sum up food excellent but customer service wise room for improvement but it is early days.

The food was cold when it came out to us and was not cooked the way I asked for it. Other than that everything was good.

We have been twice now and both times excellent service and excellent food. My husband would have liked more choice in beers but I’m sure this will come soon.

Fantastic meal. Had the fish and chips. Service was quick and food was very delicious.

Amazing experience! Warm welcome when entering, lovely staff who are willing to have a chat! The first impression of the food was well served and tasted even better!

Looking forward to this as was first meal out after lockdown - slightly disappointed.... drinks limited and then wrong wine served ( white not rose) 3 meal options taken and then not available!! Ordered beef roast to be told after 10 mins none left so ordered cheeseburger- they then brought a lamb roast and charged us for that instead of the burger!!! The Sunday roast was amazing although overpriced but the burger and chips portion was tiny... A bit of improvement needed but understand things are difficult at the moment .

Brilliant atmosphere, really nice facility’s and the food was absolutely amazing ! However my only negative thought was the waiting times, we asked a server if we can order more drinks half an hour before we where due to leave but nobody came so we just had to finish.

Had the steak baguette and chicken cajun burger and both were absolutely delicious!! Cocktails were amazing the long island ice teas knock your socks off :)

Great food and atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A great addition to the Darwen night life. Good quality food at a reasonable price.

The food is very good a little expensive for what you get. Disappointed with the limited choice , and there wasn’t much for the children . Outside area very impressive. Staff and service very good .

A real shame as we were really looking forward to trying the bank, however the food order came our wrong and there were no gluten free options at all. We ordered one round of drinks which took 40 mins to come and then the second round didn’t arrive and our table slot had ran out so we had to leave before they came despite complaining and chasing these multiple times. It’s a real shame as it has loads of potential and the food is really good but if the service could be improved and how quickly food and drinks are served this would be a big improvement as a few people looked to be in the same boat.

Food and service amazing.

I came on the 12th of April at 5pm and the young lady and gentleman who were serving us were wonderful and extremely friendly .

Well done to the Spitfire crew who performed brilliantly amidst all the Covid hassles to make our visit a great experience. Great service, great drinks and grub at very competitive prices. Bravo and long may it continue. See you on the 3rd December. Cheers.
