We visited on Thursday for the quiz shown to our table imediately offered drinks and the menu to browse we ordered pizza. It was baked in a wood fire and was delicious. The staff are very attentive and friendly. drinks arrive quickly. They have all aspects to running a restaurant business fully developed which enhances the experience. Highly recommended.
Spitfire Sports Bar – DarwenPurchased a voucher from the bee, would not return, ordered scampi and chips, the chips were not cooked properly and the scampi did not even taste like scampi , would not recommend to anybody.

Papa’s American Diner – DarwenWe had a meal and the food was great although the staff were to shy to even come talk to us whilst at our table. A big scream of HOW ARE YAH! as soon as you walk in which I found very disrespectful for I am a man who considers a calm evening and a nice chat with the workers, which I am not satisfied with. My favourite was watching the waiter move very fast and frisky with the trolley. Besides that the venue is very neat and was told I would not find a single bit of dust in any corner of the restaurant ,which I am very pleased with. I give them a thumbs up on hygiene. They are doing the very best they can but can be more active with the customers.

Astley Bank – DarwenHad a buffet there and it was pretty poor. Excellent meat pies, 7 nice buttered new potatoes but as for the rest not very good it even included Birdseye chicken dippers unbelievable.

Raj Mahal – Darwena very average chinese restaurant slightly above takeaway standard at rip off prices.some of the other reviewers with their over the top reviews have clearly never sampled proper chinese food.
