Six months ago my son and I visited La Salsa for lunch. Not being an adventurous eater this was my first taste of Tapas. I was very impressed and tapas has become my favourite eat-out meal. I would give the restaurant, the staff and the food a hearty ten out of ten and eat there a couple of times a week.

The quality of the food, presentation, and service is par excellence.The Daily Lunch-time and Allday Sunday Menu are excellent value and for that extra special evening the A La Carte menu is not to be missed.A delightful dining experience if ...like me you enjoy the ambience of beautifully laid tables with starch white linen... rarely found these days.An extra special treat was to start my Wedding Anniversary with their Delicious Breakfast.Enjoy
Astley Bank – DarwenVisited La Salsa for the 2nd time and I can certainly say they do not disappoint. All you can eat for £11.95 and boy did I eat, there's so much choice, everything I had was absolutely beautiful and fresh too. Loads of meat and fish dishes as well as plenty of choice for vegetarians. Enough food to sink a ship( I was fit for bursting), two large wines and two beers for £38.00- absolute bargain, so much so that we're off again next Friday. Not to be missed. Service was top notch

Godfather Pizza House – DarwenI have been going to Anaz about 25 years and it has always been the best. Mr Ali makes you feel so welcome. I have been to Indians in other parts of the country + other countries none compare, I met people in Morrocco from Wigan who said they travel to Anaz every week.
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenWent with friends on a Sunday lunchtime, brought a menu home to show husband and he couldn't believe the choice! The food and service were superb and everyone agreed that it is by far the best tapas in the area, won't be long before I'm back again - in fact, at these prices, I can go every week and work my way through the menu!

La Salsa – DarwenMy favourite town centre eatery, gets better every time. been on a girlie party night which was fantastic, and a few times since with hubby or mum. the service is great, and the food is MUCH better than that other mass produced well known tapas chain, better value and quality and more authentic flavours. Mum particularly loved the king prawns tonight and i love the chicken in tomato, peppers and chilli. The bread's always extra fresh and comes with tasty dips. menu is so vast that even though the tapas are small, you could never eat everything you fancied off the menu - but it's nice to try!

I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions when visiting Darwen with my wife, who was a Darwen girl before moving to Australia. June 2009 was our last visit and we enjoyed Sukhis hospitality with his friendly, courteous staff. . Still looking for a perfect Chicken Tikka Marsala as nothing comperes in Australia. It wont be long before we come back.
Raj Mahal – DarwenFirst discovered MJ's at a 'Christmas do' (always a good way to judge restaurants as they tend to be 'much of a muchness'. It turned out to be one of the best I have ever been to with superb food, excellent service and a live band who judged what their audience wanted and went for it! Have been a few times since and everything has always been first class. Hoping to go soon for my special birthday and special anniversary combined.
Springbank Manor – DarwenAn excellent chinese takeaway. Recommend the 1/4 duck and the salt and pepper ribs are excellent!! Just wish they'd be consistent with giving free prawn crackers on home deliveries-never know whether to order them or not, just in case:-)
