The Victoria Lounge – GlossopBest Sri Lankan restaurant I've been in UK. Great food and service will be back soon .
Ayubowan – GlossopGroup of 5 of us went here whilst visiting Glossop and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Presentation was beautiful, friendly service and 5 empty plates.
Restaurant at 54 – GlossopAmazing new restaurant in Glossop. The food was lovely, the atmosphere great, and the staff knowledgable, attentive and keen to explain the food options without being patronising. Would recommend to everyone, w
Ayubowan – GlossopBeen to this restaurant on many occassions. Cannot pick any fault whatsoever. We enjoy taking our friends to the restaurant as we know they wont be disappointed. Fantastic food, fantastic staff and fantastic service.
La Bodega – GlossopWe have eaten at La Bodega 4 or 5 times since it opened and have always been very impressed by the food and ambience. It is a small space but they serve up extremely authentic Spanish Tapas. Wine is good value too - Highly recommended,
La Bodega – GlossopWe went here last night for a meal, the staff were very friendly and made you feel really welcome. The food was fantastic and very reasonable priced. The bill was £90 for 4 including 2 bottles of a lovely red Rioja, with loads of tapas dishes. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going again. The lamb stew was to die for.
La Bodega – GlossopI've praised them elsewhere but they deserve praise everywhere for their gorgeous range of goods and their fabulous service. Visit this place and leave happy.
Praze Fine Foods – GlossopGreat food with a good selection of 'specials'. Very friendly staff and service with a smile. Prices are fair. Worth a visit at any time but especially summer when you can enjoy a good pint in the bear garden overlooking Glossopdale valley.
Hare and Hounds – GlossopVery disappointing, limited menu and 'help yourself to vegetables if you don't eat meat(for the same price!)2 is NOT acceptable! We went Sat 31st Oct for lunch Staff did not understand the pricing ticket system and although one young lady tried to help we were told conflicting things. The soup was tinned and barely heated and the server Katy was downright rude. Not recommended
Wrens Nest – GlossopI went for a meal last night 25/07 2009 for my birthday and I was greatly disappointed and disgusted on the cleanliness on the restaurant, we had to clean our own table, get our cutlery and went we went for our meal they only had ham no turkey or beef the food was all over the counter and the floor was covered in food which people had trodden in, it was still like that when we left an hour later. I will not be eating there again.
Wrens Nest – GlossopWhat a fabulous place this is. Finally, right in the heart of Glossop, a proper deli. The girls that run this business stock the most wonderful cheese and wine and so many other fantastic things. They are always keen to advise customers and acquire special requests. If you haven't been in yet then you must pay them a visit even if its just for a look.
Praze Fine Foods – Glossopdear sir or madam i am writing to you over our meal we come every Friday around 5 0 clock for the last three weeks the roast potatoes have not been very nice they have been burnt to a crisp and this is not the usual expectation of the meal
