excellent food! Fantastic price if you do the `all you can eat` set menu. we payed £34 including drinks between me and my partner and we ordered 13 sides all together which makes it about £2 a side (1/2 meal) which is amazing!! and the girls there where very sweet and friendly. However if you where to get a take away it gets alot more expensive but still its great food! so if you have the money and you want to treat yourself go to golden horse in ferndown, dorset.

have had lunch with 8 people the service was very very bad - had to wait 1 hr for a table which was o.k. a waiter took our order - o.k. most of my guests enjoyed thier meal - i had sirloin med with chips - the steak was overcooked and inedible the chips undercooked and cold - the salad bar was empty of all choices - asked a waiter for drinks - he took the order and disappeared -20 mins later had to ask Tina the waitress where our drinks were - it was like being in a canteen - Tina was a brilliant waitress

My family went to this restaurant on sunday 10th June usually we have quite a good meal even though sometimes it is rather hot and stuffy[no air con on]. On this occasion we arrived at 5.30pm. We went and got our meat and veg and then our what was supposed to be hand peeled and cooked HOMEMADE potatoes. However they looked different than usual even my 11 year old daughter thought so. When we started to eat them they didn't taste like homemade potatoes, more like ready made packet FROZEN ones which they proberly were. This i think is not acceptable for nearly £10 a head.

My husband and daughter came here for a pleasant day out. we rarely go out for meals. so i was extremely disappointed to find i was served horseradish with my fish rather then tartar, my husband had an overpriced steak, which he could only eat half, very gritty, we were not offered sauces, no check back was done chips served cold. when placing our meals down waitress did not say a word, and even when clearing the table didnt even ask if we enjoyed it or anything. nothing said. lesson learnt never to go there again. overpirced for a caual place and not very nice food.

I had what can only be described as a comically embarrassing experience at the ivy sandbanks. Awful food the owner put our bottle of red wine in the oven (yes the oven) because it was too cold. The music was Playing from a radio. There is unpainted walls leeks and the building it's self looks in finished. I have never seen such a joke of a business. Clearly the owner has no idea what she's doing! When complaining she blamed the builders and other contractors. That's not an excuse you shouldn't open until your ready. Since then we have noticed they have been closed down

My partner and I stayed the Bull for a weekend in September and loved it. The downstairs room is very bright and welcoming - more of a restaurant than a bar. The new manager and his wife were fantastic: enthusiastic, friendly without being intrusive and very helpful. The food was really, really good - inventive and delicious, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was large (the most expensive!) and a good bathroom. Very comfortable bed, armchair etc. Only gripes were that the heating seemed to have a mind of its own but the manager quickly brought up an electric heater, and that there were no TEA making facilities. We longed for a cup of tea when the bar was shut , or first thing or last thing and the coffee machine made disgusting tea. Please add a kettle to the room! Fabulous walking all around and lots to do. We would definitely go back.

I thought this restaurant was fantastic. It is extremely small and we had to book several weeks in advance. The food and service were impeccable and it is definitely value for money. I will be back

3 of us stopped here for lunch on 21st September (not busy); I liked the understated decor - husband thought a bit dull - and although we sat in the conservatory the sofas by fireplace looked very inviting for colder weather. Menu was imaginative and food quality extremely good; staff were polite, pleasant and professional although on the cool side but that won't put us off going again.

The pub looks attractive enough as you approach, has a pleasant interior, and the beer selection is quite decent. There's a Which? award for hospitality on display, which leads you to expect something above average. We had a ham sandwich which was, ... well, we've concluded there must be a famine in the kitchen as the single slice of wafer-thin ham didn't even cover the whole round of the sandwich. We needed to be elsewhere, and weren't in the mood for conflict, so we settled for moving the ham onto one quarter of the bread, and abandoned the rest.

Harlees holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. It is one of only a handful of shops around the country to have this award. You can be confident of the quality of the product and the service at this shop

We will not be visiting the Horns Inn ever again. For the 3rd time (yes the 3rd time!) the kitchen has been closed at 6:30pm in the evening. The last excuse by the barman being "I'm the only one here". Not good enough!! I've heard worse tales than this about the Horns. Perhaps you could do something before its reputation becomes really bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Tiien Thai Restaurant. It was our first experience of thai cuisine and I can safely say it wont be our last. I was blown away by the presentation of the food and the exceptional service that I received. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.
