i have been to the waterside many times and everytime they never fail to impress me with the excellent menu and friendly staff i would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and as it says on the menu its definitely the place to be
Cromptons @ The Waterside – EcclesWe had a fantastic time at Leos for my birthday recently. The food is extremely reasonable for an Italian restaurant, with a bottle of wine, three courses and coffee for two coming in at under £50. Food was excellent, highly recommend the bruschetta to start and a great specials board. Very efficient service without rushing you and though the place was busy the atmosphere was relaxed and not hectic as so often happens in busy restaurants on a Friday night. We will definitely go back!

Balti Brasserie – EcclesWe went to Pacifica for a celebration meal after it was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, especially the Dim Sum and it was good value for money. Would definitely go again.
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesThe fillet of beef was fab.However the veal with parma ham !! The parma Ham was cut like bacon and inedible.As for the veal,it was simply off !! It had a sour smell and taste and pink look that you get when beef is off as no matter how much you cook it,you cannot get rid of the pinkness.Just awful again !! I have been 3 times and every time it has been poor !! Never again !!
Dino’s Bar and Kitchen – MontonI would recommend this establishment to anyone the food and the service is second to none. I am hoping to hold my wedding there next year and this means travelling over 30 miles to do so it is that good.

The waiters are extremely polite and I wish to thank Leo and his Chef for an amazing meal that we had with the Chambers family. Thank you.

Yes there is an overrated place trying out the 'lets be posh in Eccles' look but for atmosphere and great, down to earth no nonsense food. Smiths is the place to be. Been there 3 times now and i'm welcomed like an old friend!!

Smiths Restaurant – Ecclesjust returned home after sampling the early bird menu at Blacksticks, choice of full menu and excellent value for money, black pudding starter was fantastic and the pork main just melted in your mouth. This is my fifth visit to this bistro and it never fails to impress.

I have taken friends and family for special occasions and everyone comments on having such a good time- with the food, service and atmosphere. Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesMixed I went to eat in and had an absolutely fantastic meal, really spot on I then followed this up with a takeaway the week after, which was the most insipid and bland thing I've ever eaten - It said it was a Balti Wicked but turned out to be 3 pieces of chicken in tomato puree - no spice or zip whatsoever Eat in, don't takeaway
Balti Brasserie – EcclesMy partner and I went to the Balti last week on a recommendation from a friend, and it was great. They served some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten, and prepared one of our special choices that wasn't even on the menu. The staff and management gave such good friendly service that we even returned 2 days later, to be greeted with a special welcome. All of this at such good value - we would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates good Indian food in pleasant surroundings.
Balti Brasserie – Eccleswas recommended on weds 7th may went along wowwww what i liked wasn't on the menu but the chef made it for me and it was the best Ive ever had said we would be back in fact went back last night 9th and was made very welcome tried new dishes will be going back next time I'm up jo from portsmouth
Balti Brasserie – EcclesGreat food, good prices, fantastic staff. I have visited this restaurant over the past 15 years, both prior to me having children and now with my 2 boys, Aged 5 + 8 . We all love the experience. We also use the take away service and have our food delivered to our door.
Balti Brasserie – EcclesI just had a christening party at The Waterside (01.03.09) and Jo and her staff made it run perfectly. The food was out of this world, I had 60 guests and each plate of food was served hot and all my guests complimented the quality of food. Even the children's meals looked delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
