the chequers cafe is by best the most popular cafe in fleetwood the food is fabulous the staff are very pleasant and curtius, this is a family run business so a regular home to home cafe with exceptional food for every taste , from a quick cuppa to a full sit down meal.Very reasonable prices that caters for every one .very easy to find , but this cafe is a must , situated at 50b north albert street in fleetwood .

I would strongly recommend a Wudz sandwich, salad box or breakfast box. If I don't visit Wudz within a couple of days I start to crave their food. You are always guaranteed Good Quality, Good Portions, Good Food! Don't just take my word for it go and try them today...

Went to a dinner dance here at the weekend have to say; The food was a complete let down - The soup starter tasted of pepper and nothing else. The vegetables were cold and overcooked, the new potatoes were cold tasteless and overcooked, the roast potatoes were cold, soggy and burnt and were not crispy at all doubt they had even seen a roasting dish, the coffee when poured as a white coffee looked like it was still a black coffee. The pudding was okay probably the best part of the meal for those who had the chocolate tart but the cheese and biscuits were a big let down with no choice of cheese just what you were chosen to have and each plate differed. It was a little disconcerting having to have a drink in the bar in formal evening wear with locals and received some odd stares form the regulars which is a little off putting - this hotel could do with a bar area that is separate for dinner dances. The function room was lovely (Ballroom) like the new decor. Service by the staff was very good, the evening was enjoyable despite the poor food.

We ate at the Trafalgar on New Years Eve, and once again had a superb meal. The service was fantastic and friendly. The halibut was to-die-for. Gorgeous light cheesecake for dessert. This place is really on form at the moment!

While at the market at fleetwood went to eat at the Granada Bar had cod chips and peas and it was excellent cooked to perfection had to tell somebody so here I am.

The Trafalgar is the best restaurant in Fleetwood,the food is superb with lots of choice,staff are great my husband and I love to visit as often as we can,highly recommended.

This restaurant is superb. Myself and family love it, and try to visit twice a year. The food is delicious, and the amount of food is fantastic - great value for money. The atmosphere is lovely, along with the decor. All members of staff treat you like old friends. I can't recommend The Trafalgar highly enough.

I recently came to the Trafalgar with my Fiancee and her family ,this is the third time I've been and have never been disappointed in fact it seems to get better every time I go . We all ate off the specials board, I had squid to start. I have worked as a chef for over 10 years and can safely say that this was one of the best starters I've ever had. The staff are welcoming and friendly and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. From start to finish you'd have to travel far to beat the superb quality of food.Highly recommended.

Our family travels to Fleetwood regularly with an overnight stopover in a B&B just to eat at the Trafalgar Restaurant, now our girls' bring their boyfriends along and we each thoroughly enjoy the food, surroundings and ALL the staff who treat the family as old friends. We have been going to the Trafalgar for over 25 years now and have NEVER had a meal to complain about, and we also recommend our friends to book a table and they too have recommended this superb restaurant.

Great fish and chips, perfectly cooked - could not want for better! We think they are very good value - if you are not willing to pay eat-in prices it's easy, just take-away. Highly recommended.

Re : Wickets comments. Specials in every uk restaurant can sell out if its a "high demand day". The price for fish chips peas with bread & butter is £ 5.65 = £11.30 NOT £13 ! , we separate items for customer choice ie some people dont want chips or peas . We feel we give excellent value considering you are seated in a restaurant with waiter service and all the overheads that go with it . We suggest that wickets should visit a fylde gastro pub where the above would be around £15 ! The Granada Fish Bar

This is the best fish and chip shop in Blackpool, i would recommend this chippie to anyone. Go you will love it.

We make an annual visit to Pablo's,fantastic food and great value. Service is very good and all staff are excellent, cannot recommend highly enough!

had a great meal ,very good quality . but the special board was sold out and all other items were individually priced so although I'd recommend it £13 for 2 fish + chips and peas with bread seemed very expensive maybe a cheaper version as make me think twice about going again

My partner and I had a 3-course 'Early Bird' meal here last night. It has seldom been our pleasure to eat such marvellous food; good quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Each of the 3 courses was a triumph. A very nice coffee was served, too. The staff were very friendly and reassuringly competent. My partner and I plan to revisit The Trafalgar as often as we are able and and are most anxious to work our way through the very interesting menu boards. Thank you for a splendid, very reasonably-priced evening.

we had paella and mixed grill fish for four of us better than anything in barcelona.
