had many a great meal in this restaurant. the food is great the service is great the and staff are the most attentive ever.

Site is not disabled friendly as its up stairs, nice room, modern and comfortable, interesting menu with some unusual dishes. Food was ok ish but as a very experienced curry head I thought it was quite under spiced and was somewhat disappointed in the bombay aloo and my king prawn shashlick, reasonable portions and good quality but not up to my taste. Prices are dearish and I came away without the lift of a good feed.

been here often over the years but went yesterday. really good food, friendly staff and good atmosphere had a hot hot pizza by request with extra chillies wow the boss is a nice guy, always welcoming but the food speaks for itself, good, tasty and most of all not that expensive really good value !

The food was well presented, hot and delicious. There were some unusual dishes listed on the menu and so much choice! We ordered the set meal for 2 and the curry so tasty and spicy they can blend flavours well! We thought the restaurant lacked a certain atmosphere and some of the staff could smile a bit more? We probably will return because we found this place good value for money and reasonable portions.

Have eaten here many times. splendid place with really nice staff. Food is very good and plenty of it, menu is varied with lots of dishes not usually seen in run of the mill venues. prices are very reasonable , all in all , a nice place to eat out.

Sadly this once fine pub has an absentee landlord, regularly runs out out beer, through not paying the bills on time. It is also swamped by army personel from the nearby army camp. It is NOT a place to take your family for a quite drink.

My friend Jackie and I try to get to the Left Bank every four to five weeks, as we have done for the last few years, and we love it as much now as we did when we first went. Hakan, Guven and the staff always make you feel special, and the food is never a disappointment, it's the only restaurant that we look forward to going to as we find others a let down as we always compare them to the Left Bank. Unlike other restaurants their standards have never changed over the years, superb value for money. Keep up the good work.

my husband and i recently ate twice at left bank and were truly impressed. one of the occasions was a Tuesday night so we took advantage of 2 courses for £6.95 and have to say it was amazing. i had Greek salad to start which was delicious. I then opted for fillet steak which had a £5.95 supplement but it was worth every penny and it was the best steak I've ever had.it was cooked to perfection. the restaurant was really busy (every table was full) but that didn't affect the good service and the atmosphere was great too, not what you'd expect on a Tuesday evening. we'll definitely be back soon!

Bright, welcoming with friendly staff. good choice of all courses. we visited on friday evening, good value at £8.95 for 2 courses. Food delicious & well cooked. definitely recommend & visit again.

Nice pub, OK atmosphere, but a disgusting man for a landlord, be a nice place without him

The cost was average but not worth a penny. The food was dreadful and had to be sent back, as the chicken was not cooked properly, service was slow with the staff standing at the ends of the bars chatting or reading magazines. The only decent thing to come out of it was the bar manager Vicky was a delight.

Stumbled across this place as I was going to the beach, this is a really nice pub, the atmosphere is good and the service and bar staff are excellent. the food is top notch, 2 4 1 on meals on a week day. you have to try the 20 ounce steak though it was cooked to perfection. I am a regular every Sunday now.

All you can eat buffet Sunday and Wednesday (includes peking duck starters and deserts) the food is amazing we have been so impressed we took a party of 25 to impress them! The staff make you feel at ease being attentive but not intrusive. The week day business lunch is great value at £2.99 for a main course.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever been, the food is lovely and the service is great, there is also a lovely bar upstairs to go before or after your meal. Not many places I have been measure up to this! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
