As usual the good was very nice however the service was disappointing it being very slow. On our table of six half were served their main course but for the other three my husband had to ask where the meals were. This meant that the meals of those already served were not as hot as hoped. It appeared that the meals had been served to the next table. Please do better next time we have lunch with you.

Amazing food as ever

First visit and we were impressed. The coffee was good, the food was great and there was a lovely community feel about it. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely brunch on Saturday, friendly welcoming staff , fantastic croque monsieur and a BLT, continues to be a little gem in Whickham

Went for Sunday lunch to Cafe Lutz with my son recently and I must say I was really impressed. There were slight delays due to recent power cuts in the area but the food was worth the wait. I had roast beef and my son had the chicken, both meals were really good but the beef in particular was cooked perfectly and overall the meal was excellent.

Excellent food and service as usual, very lucky to have Lutz around the corner from us.

Went for early evening meal with friends on Saturday David was very attentive and provided drinks until we were ready to order Manager then took our order for food quickly & efficiently The food was excellent and provided in timely manner There was no pressure to vacate the table & lots of checks to see if we had everything Thanks for a lovely atmosphere & very enjoyable meal

Starter French Onion Soup was excellent Sunday Lunch main course - Roast Beef Beef very good, potatoes roast & mash very good, carrot excellent BUT both the turnip and onions were by far over salted Spoiled an otherwise good meal

Visited for afternoon tea. Absolutely perfect! Lots of choice and very generous portions. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, making sure we were kept topped up with our tea. Will definitely return and also highly recommend!

Good food , music and atmosphere

Visited on Saturday night. Had an amazing salad for starter and the Alpine Macaroni was fantastic. Great music and atmosphere so stayed on for some extra drinks.

Food as good as ever - tried the new pear and blue cheese flambé- delicious! Great atmosphere and service as usual
