I've been here quite a few times and I'm NEVER disappointed! The food is fantastic! (you can also get takeaways) The staff are brilliant, they're friendly and very warm! The atmosphere is lovely and cosy. They will order a taxi for you when you're leaving and the ladies always get a kiss from Malik! I highly highly recommend a visit!

Food was great cooked to a very high standard. Would recommend to anyone. We use this place quite regular now.

We regularly use the Monsun restaurant/takeaway in Low Fell Gateshead, and in our opinion is the best there is in our area. We have tried all the rest and the Monsun is far the best. Excellent value for money, 1st class

The Fell Fish Bar Is my favourite fish and Chip Shop...the food there is always outstanding, you could not ask for a better standard in food and the prices are more than fare. I would recommend this chip shop to everyone it definitely deserves to be on the map.

Since moving to the area from Dundee (where we were blessed by a huge selection of GOOD Indian restaurants) I have been searching for consistently good food. Nishas is everything indian cuisine should be and the owners Mo is a pleasure to deal with. The menu is fresh and exciting with regular changes. My favourites are prawn Danka and chicken Podina. Give it a try. They even do deliveries

Lovely intimate restaurant & excellent quality of food everytime.I have ate here with family & friends since it opened a few years ago & it is as good as ever.Wine list is good as are the draft Kingfisher & bottles of Cobra,the Jal Jul Hash(duck)is simply out of this world...I love this place.

If you fancy a Chinese then look no further than here, the lunchtime special is practically a give away & the evening a la carte menu is fantastic. My wife & i love this place as its intimate yet atmosphere is spot on. Staff are superb & John always has a smile for you good crack all round...the Chinese lager is fresh n crisp simply 'moreish'

This place has recently been refurbished and is a great place to eat at. The service is fantastic and the food is fabulous! I would highly recommend anyone who wants a night out in Whickham to visit this curry house!!!!!

Excellent food, the best I?e had in ages! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a cracking pint of Kingfisher. Highly recommend it to anyone who knows their curries.

Recently extended and totally refurbished this is a very reliable consistently good curry house. The menu is straightforward but the quality impeccable. recommended dish Chicken Tikka Dhansak. V good for takeaways too.

I spend most of the weekdays working around the UK. No other take away can match Ping On Beef Chow Mein, I believe they produce the best in the UK. Well Done Ping On.

I love Indian food and you would have to go a long way to beat Bensham Tandoori. The only thing I would like to say is that they have cut the cartons of byriarni down by half not a happy bunny. But I would not buy one any where else. Keep up the good work.

During my first trip to Newcastle we decided to visit the Sage Gateshead and stumbled across their lovely Brasserie Restaurant. The food was really excellent and the service equally good, topped off by great value for money. We'll definitely return on our next visit to the city.

I go to this restaurant all the time and every time I am impressed. The food is yummy and the service is great. Highly recommended.
