Balbirs Restaurant – GlasgowWhat a meal, was in on Wednesday 17th April, was there with a group of friends, had originally booked a table for 4 but we were 5 were informed by the manager that it was fine. When ordering our meal a chap in glasses came over and offered us the banquet, 3 out of 5 choice to go for it and we never regretted it. What food even the other 2 regretted not going for it. 10/10 in all areas. Balbir should be proud of his team their. The restaurant blends in well with the interior surrounding , layout, Indian music and the atmosphere.
Balbirs Restaurant – GlasgowRecently reopened and what a difference! Beautiful big spacious pub with great modestly priced food. Highly recommended
Trader Joes – GlasgowGreat place for a quality meal and cheap drinks. A good old fashioned Glasgow pub!
Cairns – GlasgowDecided to give this wonderful little restaurant a try after hearing so many good things, my husband said it was one of the best steaks he had ever been served, starters were all yummy and pizzas were like being in Italy. You can tell the minute you walk through the door it is a family run restaurant as it is so welcoming...well worth a visit again and again and again.......Ps. You must try the Chicken Milanese and the home-made Tiramisu
Torna Sorrento – GlasgowHave only visited twice and was impressed. Food was freshly prepared and the cost was very reasonable due to the portion size. Staff were very efficient and friendly in both queen street and Dumbarton road restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Great place to visit as a couple or group.
Ichiban Noodle Cafe – GlasgowThought i would try out this place after hearing good raves about this place, and have to say excellent choice. Spoke to a chap called Lucky, who suggested that we should try the restaurant popular banquet. After been explained about it we all went for it, and what a meal, will be back with more of my friends and relatives. Keep it up guys.
Balbirs Restaurant – GlasgowThis is the best chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The food is absolutely fantastic - especially the chicken satay! My husbands family and my own have been going to this place for years and it has never let us down. I always try other chinese restaurants in other cities to compare and nothing is anywhere near as good as this one!
Ho Wong – Glasgowi had a fillet steak for my main course and i can safely say that it is the best food ive had since ive been in the UK which is in 3 years! it took awhile to arrive but it was worth well the wait. superb food.
La Bonne Auberge – GlasgowI visited many restaurants in and around the Glasgow area for most of my 42 years, and none can match the quality of food in this place. Not only is the food good but there is plenty of it unlike the more "Trendy" places and to top it all the price is excellent two course meal sitting for two £21 and if you take it away chop a fiver off that. This palace is a must for curry lovers so nip up Victoria road and get yer belly full
Anarkali Indian – GlasgowIf you have never visited the Darbar than you have never lived - this is the best Indian restaurant in the West of Scotland. The staff are always very helpful and happy - wish some of the other restaurants in Glasgow would take a leaf from their book... Keep up the good work. Fantastic.... xx
Delhi Darbar – GlasgowSeems slightly more plump (seating wise to the original branch in west end / Patrick. Dined Feb 07. Fairly busy evening, reasonable attention from staff. Scallops good, halibut slightly less fresh and the risotto a bit flavourless and a tad too firm to the bite. Trio of brulee superb. Spent as fair bit of money yet Maitre D' couldn? muster up a wee farewell thanks for the custom etc!!
