I've never been disappointed with a meal in The Konaki. The food is delicious, the service is first class and it's a pleasure to return time after time. Friends who eat there on our recommendation are always impressed - it's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular.
Konaki Greek Taverna – GlasgowThe Buttery is a restaurant to visit if you like fine food. The owners have got the ambience spot on, with the service first class without waiters crawling all over you. For a special occasion I would not contemplate any other place in Glasgow, i have been on two separate occasions and left the restaurant more than satisfied, even though slightly lighter of pocket. Very very good !!
Buttery The – GlasgowGreat food. The best Thai food in Glasgow by far. The beef salad is amazing. There are many Thai restaurants in Glasgow, this is the only one I have been to that tastes authentic
Thai Siam – GlasgowHealthy portions of no nonsense Indian food. This place has been around for a long time and is very popular with residents of the Southside. It would be difficult to get anywhere cheaper or portions bigger. Must book if it's a Friday or Saturday night to be sure of a table.
Anarkali Indian – GlasgowAnother of my daughters Chinese lunchtime haunts. Food very good, service quick and all very inexpensive. Watch where you sit as didn't think we had a great table. Apparently there's a good section and the one we were sitting in!
China Sea Restaurant – GlasgowI went there for my 18th birthday party with quite a few of my friends and we had a really great time together. The atmosphere was good however, it was quite embarrassing when the staff bought the birthday cake out and everybody started singing. Overall the food is good for the price, with a lot of variety for me to pick from. The staff were friendly and even joined in my 18th birthday party!

Andiamo – GlasgowGreat place to eat. The service is great. If you go for the "trying 3 starters and 3 main courses" option the waiter symply asks if there is anything you don't like and then random dishes are brought to your table. Not your regular indian food, but more exciting and different, as well as delicious and lighter on the stomach. Lovely!
Balbirs Restaurant – GlasgowI never thought i was one for shortbread, but after having eaten Rogano's version of it with pistachio nuts, I've found probably the biscuit that takes the biscuit! Beyond the shortbread, the food here is exceptional. Great wine list too. Thoroughly recommend the place! One to impress. Must go back now they've refurbished it - like back in time in this art deco time piece.
