We went here for birthday celebrations in July 2015. Fantastic. Food good and no fat on meat. Cooking your own how you want it on hot stone was fun. Would definately recommend and go again.

Legends by the Sea – Isle of WightHad hot meze for lunch last week. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. Gorgeous colours and delicious. Plenty of pitta bread on the side as well. The Chardonnay was chilled and crisp. Highly recommended.
Ada Mediterranean Kitchen – Isle of WightWe always use this fish bar
Lake Fish Bar – Isle of WightAbsolutely amazing meal with brilliant service at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend it highly enough! Will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anybody.
Rendezvous Newport – Isle of WightGood quality well cooked steak and a terrific seafood linguini washed down with a decent chianti....what more do you want on an early Friday evening (yes, open at 530pm) en route for a movie so with not TOO much time ? Good luck to the Rendezvous, we need a successful bistro in this part of Newport and one that's around for a while !
Rendezvous Newport – Isle of WightWithout a doubt, the best Indian restaurant on the Island.
Monsoon Fine Indian Dining – Isle of WightGood time, go again!
The Old Stag Inn – Isle of WightThe best food and service 5* .. thanks naz see u soon..
Bombay Palace Ryde – Isle of WightWent to the pier view with my family and the mussels were overpriced for the portion size as well as overcooked, my sons burger was rare when it should've been cooked through. When then staff asked if everything was alright they did nothing, why bother asking ?Definitely one to miss
The Pier View – Isle of Wighthad breakfast and went to curry night and was absolutely amazed by the value and lovely food :)
The Wheatsheaf Inn – Isle of Wightvisited this Fish Bar last Friday and found the chips awful, the fish very small and the man who worked there very rude. there are far better fish and chip shops to visit on the Isle of Wight, recommend avoid it.
June’s Fish Bar – Isle of WightWhat a find! We visited the Island to seek out any Michelin star restaurants. There was only one! The Hambrough and owned by chef Robert Thompson. The view from the restaurant was to die for and Thompson's signature dish "as we were told" of Smoked Eel was divine. We will definitely stay next time!
The Hambrough Hotel – Isle of WightAfter hearing about this restaurant being one of the better ones on the IOW is decided to take my parents there for a night out. I can't say that it was the best I have visited and would go so far to say that I thought it was just average. I had to ask the waitress for glasses of water...The meals did not all come out together which is key in my opinion...There was a lot of clattering going on in the kitchen which we discovered was the veggies that we were supposed to have been enjoying with our dinner!!! They did show up eventually over cooked. Passed on dessert and just ordered coffee when the waitress finally showed up to ask...Not once did she come over and check that everything was OK....I would not have minded but since we were the first ones in the place I would have expected a little more attention to our comfort and a lot more care with the food for which we were paying for.
Lugleys of Newport Restaurant – Isle of WightThe Dairyman's Daughter offer a very good day time menu and lunch time specials. They also have a very good evening menu & sumptuos specials board menu, which my husband and me often try. There is an array of home made sweets also available, that taste excellent. We always enjoy our meals at this establishment.
The Dairyman’s Daughter – Isle of WightDon't bother going here!! Food disgusting. Staff rude, scruffy and slapdash!!
The Mad Cow – Isle of WightThe Woodvale Hotel is a very nice establishment. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food has been very good, on each occasion we have been. The menu is also flexible, you could add extras which aren't listed under that meal, whereas other restaurants will serve only what the menu says. Prices for food were good, and on the whole, a very enjoyable and relaxing place to be.
The Woodvale Hotel – Isle of WightAfter coming to the Isle of Wight for over 30 years, The Old Fort must have been the absolute worst meal we have ever had on the Island. We waited for over half an hour for 2 Sausage and Chips, and a Tuna Baguette. Me and my son couldn't even bring ourselves to eat the sausage, as it looked completely uncooked. We will definitely never go back there, as we fear receiving food poisoning from the disgustingly prepared food. If you can even call it that. We expected more from an establishment in Seaview, but we were proven wrong. I hope others will take this into consideration, and avoid it at all costs.
The Old Fort Bar Cafe – Isle of WightFab meal as always. Best Italian food outside of Italy. Pizza's are fantastic and authentic, puddings are wonderful. Beautiful little restaurant set in Shanklin Old Town. Ensure you book and ask for a downstairs table.
