Oh my God. Went to the Sportsman on Friday night. Stood outside by the kitchen door, after finishing my drink, I looked down to find that what I assumed was uneven floor was actually a rat. Very Dead & very Flat, been there obviously some time. Nice. Enjoy your meal...

My absolute favourite restaurant in Birmingham... Cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are attentive, without being intrusive, the food is delicious and portions are large. I do not think this restaurant is over-priced at all, considering its location! The menu changes seasonally and the meals are carefully prepared using locally-sourced produce. The Chef will come and chat to you, they welcome children and are eager to please. I would eat there every week if I could!! Go there!!!

The food here is the best ever, presentation is as good as the taste, and i think it was the owner, but he made us feel very welcome and special. will def visit again when in the area.

Absolutely brilliant and better than what we had expected! Not in the busiest area of the street so hadn’t noticed it until it the recent refurb of the restaurant from the outside - looks great. The staff were very attentive and pleasant, and the food fantastic, best king prawns and duck I have ever tasted! I have already recommended it to a few friends and would definitely recommend it to all who read this. Good value for money as you get what you pay for… also try the chilli ice cream!

Henry Wongs is definitely a refined Cantonese restaurant with a difference, from traditional Cantonese dishes to Cantonese dishes with twists of personal adaptation by the chef the food does not fail to deliver. The classy decor and attentive staff make eating out relaxing and enjoyable. I will definitely be You wont be left disappointed.

well what a nice surprise in bearwood, this Victorian building has been refurbished to an excellent standard. me and my husband went for a bite to eat i had the duck while my husband had the lamb, i found my duck a little bloody and asked the waitress if they could cook it a little longer. with apologies she took it away and a fresh non bloody piece of duck was cooked to my perfection. the staff are friendly even down to the tall man that opens the door for you. its a pleasant surprise.

i was pleasantly amazed by the newly refurbished kingshead, we had planned to go out for a Sunday lunch with family and friends but our first choice of restaurant was shut due to maintenance being carried out, so we had a look around and came across this lovely revamped pub, we went to enquire about booking a table and was greeted immediately by a warm inviting smile, a party of 20 was just leaving the restaurant so our party of 18 was able to seat within 5 minutes. the food was tasty, well presented and served by friendly staff who were attentive throughout. i will say though that we were unaware of the new kingshead we just came across it by mistake, i just hope that more people make the same mistake as it was a really enjoyable experience and we are sure to return!!!!!!!!

What a complete waste of time, booked a table for 4 people, got to the Kings Head on time and we were not allowed in as we were not dressed properly !!??! We explained that we had booked a table to eat but we were rudely asked to leave as one of our friends was casually dressed but she did not fit the dress code and was.The most off putting thing is that we could not see any signs for dress codes,also we booked over the phone and visited there website which does not mention anything about how you should dress!!!!!.As we were leaving they were letting in people who were not as casually dressed up as we were..We left and went else were.Recently i have heard a lot about this place and it seems to be all the same,plus ive been told not to eat there as the service is bad..

nice waiters, especially the bar man who has worked there for many months now, great atmosphere, great place nice and safe. u cant miss it, guaranteed it will be the best curry house you went to as well as the best night of your life!!! :D

This place was totally awesome, I went there with a couple friends. I can’t believe we found a total gem after a great night out there is nothing like so quality food. I really enjoyed the mouth-watering food…I loved the Stuffed Pepper I had for starters…so yummy and what can say about this dish Sathkore gosht so tasty, there friendly waiter recommend this dish…totally amazed and we can t forget the lightest naan breads i’ve ever tasted. I am totally hooked with this place. Definitely going back again.

having stumbled upon this restaurant i was very impressed with the decor and the service. when i went in i was immediately greeted by a friendly waitress and had my pick of tables. as it was winter outside it had a very warm and cosy feel with soft lights, candles and the wood oven. the food was very fresh and didn't take very long to arrive. i had a calzone which was massive and ended taking home half and my husband had the prawn risotto overall it was a lovely find and not to expensive we will be going back as much as we can.

Wow! - Amazing food and service here, waiter was really helpful and jolly too. Foods was a little over average price wise but very much worth it. Will definitely go again...

The best meal out I have had in a long time. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. The live music was entertaining. Simply fab!

Been here a few times now and have always had a great meal. the menu has so much to choose from you are spoilt for choice and the staff are extremely helpful. The prices are such good value we had poppadom, 2 starters, 2 mains with rice and naan each, a dessert to share and 2 Litre bottles of wine(!) all for only £50!!!! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

If you make return visits to a restaurant it usually means that you have been satisfied with the cuisine and ambiance. I also like to know that I can take friends there without worrying about whether we are going to be disappointed with the food or standard of service and that we are not going to be ripped off on the price of a bottle or two of wine. When I go to the Buonissimo, Harborne, I expect to enjoy a cosy evening of good food, good service and reasonably-priced wine in an intimate atmosphere. So far I have not been disappointed.
