Ate here with my husband. Haven't been for many years. Plenty to choose from off the menu. We both really enjoyed the food we had and will definitely be back.

Atmosphere: Plenty of tables, busy but because of pleasant weather, got a table fairly quickly. Service: Very friendly staff, food came in a decent time Food: •Caeser Salad. Very large and had lots of dressing, very nice •Greek Salad. Again,very large, super tasty. •Margarita Pizza. GORGEOUS! Super stretchy cheese pull • Chips. Just chips,but delicious ones!! Was it worth the money? •Yes

Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Good choice of starters and mains which turned out to be plentiful , nicely cooked and tasty.

This was our first visit to worlds end and the staff were pleasant and friendly and very helpful the food was amazing will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend

First impression count and we both agreed that the unpretentious atmosphere and the well prepared and presented lunch was just what we like. Sort of place you'd be happy to take friends to. Lovely. Bags of parking .

The young lad that served us was brilliant. Friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble!

Last minute booking on first day of holiday proved to be a great choice Food was great, especially the pizzas Also a lovely gluten free IPA ale Topped off by some wonderful pork scratchings

Had a lovely evening meal with a friend - ate outside as weather was pleasant. The vegetarian curry was delicious - full of flavour; really enjoyed it. Service is superb - friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be returning.

Had dinner and a couple of drinks on Saturday, food was absolutely spot on and service matched .Steak pie was gorgeous and the belly pork was as good if not better. I would highly recommend Royal Oak.

Staff were extremely pleasant. Food arrived on hot plates and well presented. Very tasty and good sized portions.

Friendly, efficient service. Great Yorkshire pudding, although not enough sausages. Beef & Ale pie filling was excellent and the best chips we’ve had in a long time. Great location in Knaresborough overlooking the river. Great value for money. Would recommend a meal here.

Had a last minute campervan stopover here for sunday dinner and am so glad we did. The food was phenomenal. I’ll be dreaming about that steak pie for a while and the boudin starter too. Had a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to wash it all down. Really relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly in all areas, next to a nature reserve for a lovely walk. Very welcoming and friendly x

I thought the chicken was processed, dry, cold and tasteless. It could have been hotter as the mash was only warm. The pub was nice.

Went at short notice for an early evening meal. My partner had the steak pie and I had haddock and chips and lemon tart for dessert with coffee. The food was great as was the coffee and the real ale. Quick and efficient service in pleasant surroundings made for an enjoyable evening.

Fabulous, dog friendly pub. Lovely surroundings, great food, generous Yorkshire size portions. You can even park your camper round the back for the night.
