Excellent meals and friendly welcoming service. They were very careful about checking what I am allergic to and making sure the meal I chose was okay for me. Will go again!

The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateExcellent afternoon tea a good variety with a top up of tea or coffee if required I would highly recommend good value for money Although lacking a little atmosphere as no one else in at the same time and maybe some background music would be nice
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateJust returned from an overnight stay here. This is one of the best meals I have had at a hotel. 1. Friendly and attentive staff 2. Great atmosphere- perfect background music and warm 3. Exceptional food with great service and fairly priced. Drinks not overpriced for a hotel I had the pork, my friend the chicken and our husband’s the steak. Definitely going back.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateGreat food, generous portions. Fantastic service. Best meal out in yonks.

The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateEnjoyed the visit. Pleasant atmosphere. Very good food. Friendly service. Bill incorrect. In our favour! Rather offhand acceptance of the mistake when pointed out.
The Royal Oak Staveley – Harrogate4 of us all chose the steak and ale pie. A generous portion which was absolutely delicious and everyone cleared their plate. We will definitely be returning. Service was first class and the atmosphere in the place was very homely and welcoming.
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateLovely lovely traditional pub. Wonderful atmosphere, and crackling fires, friendly staff and delicious food, with hearty size portions . Highly recommend.
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateAmazing setting to eat in. Service was great and the vegan afternoon tea was good. Perhaps a bit more imagination with the sandwiches and some vegan cream would have been awesome.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateMy father and I booked for Sunday carvery at 5pm. I would suggest going earlier as the food, although tasty, was luke warm. It's very much a pub that serves food rather than a restaurant and wasn't very relaxing as we were sat facing a wall with a large TV above us showing a football match. On a positive note, it was cheap
The Empress – HarrogateDined in the restaurant on both evenings of our two night stay at Cedar Court and found our meal most enjoyable with excellent service. Reasonable choice of food but it was a shame for us pescatarians that the cod loin was in a chorizo? cassoulet so not suitable. The mushroom bourguignon was a very tasty vegetarian option. Beautiful dining room, tables not dressed so rather plain and utilitarian against the setting of the room. Sadly breakfast was not as good, totally self service buffet and I didn’t see a menu offering other choices. The beans and mushrooms on the hot plate were cold. The toasters are a bit useless. It was nicely presented though and a good choice of food. The score is for the evening meal rather than breakfast and food would be 4.5 but the slider wouldn’t do halves. All the staff were friendly and polite. Visited many times previously and will hopefully and happily go again.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateLove Sunday Lunch at the Royal Oak. Always feel the portion size is excellent certainly never leave feeling we haven’t eaten enough. Love that I can take my dog
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateHad a lovely evening meal whilst staying at the hotel, main course and dessert. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, couldn't fault the food or service.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateAs with many cream teas - too many cakes and insufficient sandwiches. Pot of tea too small but nicely refilled. I noticed that whilst we’re eating there was someone was vacuuming in the lounge. Not ideal.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateWe arrived early, and were greeted by very pleasant and helpful receptionist. All staff very efficient and courteous. Afternoon tea was beautifully set out, very tasty and an adequate quantity. We'll done.
Cedar Court Hotel – HarrogateCame on Saturday afternoon for afternoon tea. Met by very friendly polite staff and were checked in had arrived earlier than the booking but this wasn't a problem. Shown to our table and staff did there upmost to make us feel welcome. Food arrived and was very tasty and enough for both of us. Nice leisurely time with nobody trying to rush us or chase us out. Will certainly come back again.
