Pelcomb Inn – Haverfordwestgreat food, wonderful host and chef, always happy to please
Pump on the Green – HaverfordwestThe food was OK, but service not great. Cold food not my favourite.
Farmers Arms, The – Haverfordwestexcellent home cooked food by Mandy, friendly local pub with great atmosphere - try the surfing pig!
Ye Olde Inn – HaverfordwestHaving been in the area for many years now, word of mouth led me back to the glen. with the understanding that there was a new rejuvenated catering team in place, my wife and i dined. with canopes on arrival, pleasant music, and a menu to suit every taste, a wide selection of choice with its many specials. the food was fantastically presented and tasted divine, my wife ate the chicken ballotine and i a plain old boring steak, the flavours were magnificent. well done to the new chef, we return regularly now as do many of our friends, by far the nicest eatery within pembrokeshire
Glen, The – HaverfordwestAfter living in South London for 18 years, Ive had my fair share of good and bad food. The Shed in Porthgain is one of the finest fish restaurants that I have ever eaten in and that includes Rick Steins! Great food, good sized portions, magnificent and friendly staff, but only a small number of seats so you must book in advance.
The Shed – HaverfordwestBad food, bad service and a waste of time & money.
Old Pharmacy Restaurant, The – HaverfordwestThere was a cat roaming on top of the tables, need I say more? The service was the worst I've ever experienced. We were completely neglected and they never even said a word when they took away my full plate of risotto which was not edible. The atmosphere was strange and cold and dirty and there is a total lack of management here.
Druidstone – HaverfordwestFantastic value for money, very warm and friendly, with a mouthwatering menu. Cant wait to go back
Iron Duke Hotel, The – Haverfordwestwow amazing! great few nights, when we come back we will be back
Ye Olde Inn – HaverfordwestFirst you have to get a table .The Restaurant was full for weeks in advance. The Service was quirky (pleasant and human) not your usual pompous formality. The Location and Restaurant itself was breathtaking -inspiring table design with Sunset. The food Perfect.
Druidstone – HaverfordwestExcellent food served in the newly refurbished Swann. The food was outstanding and although not cheap did represent excellent value for money. Vies form the upstairs room across the beach were stunning
Swan Inn, The – HaverfordwestCracking grub! :)
Artramont Arms – Haverfordwesta nice quiet pub. The food is excellent value. great quantity aswell as quality
Pembroke Yeoman, The – HaverfordwestThis is a gem of a place, a cross between a bar, a restaurant and a mini arts & crafts shopping centre. A bit like Afleck's Palace in Manchester, and completely unexpected in Haverford West. Feels like it should be at Glastonbury. The food is EXCELLENT if you like real "made on the premises" dishes, with a fair amount of variety and flair. For lunch I had a smoked duck salad and a tiramisu, and was spoilt for choice. Wished I'd been able to return but was on a flying (working) visit. If I'm ever in the region again I'd make a bee-line there!
Georges Restaurant and Cafe Bar, The – HaverfordwestWe ate here on Sunday17/07/07 Paul who is the owner was cooking I chose the lamb and my son had the beef, my son who is mad on yorkies was delighted when he was brought an extra plate of the same without it being a problem. The veg was not lacking either we had proper roast potatoes roast parsnip-boiled potatoes-creamed leeks-cabbage-carrots-swede-broccoli-cauliflower-peas-all cooked to perfection. I nearly forgot the sweet as I was eating the main in my mind again,my son had icecream and I had the chocolate and lime cheesecake delicious!!.-------In the week we returned to have another meal in the evening the restaurant changes to Indian food once again a different and brilliant meal I was told that the chef was second in the Indian chef of the year a couple of years ago and it showed in the food well done all the staff a great team. If you are in Solva don't miss this one.
Ship Inn – HaverfordwestGood value pub food with an excellent choice of beers. real ales were fantastic.
Victoria Inn – HaverfordwestThis Inn is under new family ownership since 2006 and have done much to establish effective and practical ambience e.g they have a separate dining area where smallest of children are welcome without imposing on other customers. Service was very friendly with excellent real ales (Welsh), and a convenient range of table wines to suit all tastes. Food was cooked from fresh raw material, and it was especially fine to tackle worthwhile helpings of seafood including my favourite skate in a sauce of butter and capers. "Proper" (i.e sponge type)puddings are presented hot with either custard and/or ice cream, but a choice of less calorific fruity options was there for those watching their waistlines. We entered by chance, and left feeling replete and very comfortable. A definitive recipe of hospitality.
Cambrian Inn – Haverfordwest
