we were at theo's on the 10th july we go all the time and all of us have a great time, sometimes we go in groups of 6 or more, the food is to die for, the bonus is you can buy there or take your own wine etc., the service is very good and they have a lovely veranda were you can sit on a warm evening with your wine, it's also a smoking area, never are we disappointed...

we have been going a while now and its great we were there on Saturday 1st may with friends the owner is a great chef, you can sometimes hear if ranting but its great he does everything himself. Gordon Ramsey and the other chefs are not a patch on nick, he's friendly, and a great chef. he runs the restaurant with his wife she's wonderful and a true professional handles every situation well, ' see's that your happy and nothing is to much trouble for her.. the staff are very good also. we always recommend Theo's thank you nick and androulla..................

Theo's is definitely our favourite restaurant and we are regular customers. The food (cooked by Nick the chef who is also the owner) is absolutely brilliant. The portions are more than generous and can't imagine anyone leaving the restaurant not full!!!Nick is very passionate about his food and restaurant, hence he always circulates in the restaurant later in the evening when cooking is over. A very friendly and hospitable restaurant.

excellent organic vegetarian food prepared with imagination, very friendly, take your own wine, we had couscous and a tagine sauce- delicious and a penang curry beautifully spiced with the correct amount of coconut, puddings were generous chocolate cake moist and nutty and a good creme brulee £33 for two, a bargain

Although the food was ok, the service was shocking - we asked for some tap water, only to be told "we can't do tap water" - asked do they not have a tap, & a lady who seemed to be the owner came out & said the tap is in the kitchen & won't be cold so they can't serve it. We then sat listening to this woman and the chef in the kitchen slagging us off for asking for tap water. I've eaten at many restaurants - cheap & cheerful to top of the range, and they all serve tap water & don't complain about it. We found them ridiculous & could laugh it off, but I'm sure it would ruin some people's evenings

Kitties has to be the best dining in Hebden. Its one of those gems that you wish youd found earlier and you wish you could visit every week. Intimate - there are @ 6 tables. And from the moment you arrive and are greeted with canapes to the coffee with the petit fours its a taste sensation few restaurants can rival. The menu is varied (although clearly French) and cooked and served with a skill that deserves mention. If loud music and noisy diners helps with your digestion then steer clear. Kitties is a place to linger. Fantastic. You wont find Kitties in the centre of Hebden with the other restaurants. Look for the Co Op and go across the road and there it is. Its worth a visit.

Lovely canalside restaurant. Light and airy and really good Thai food. We took advantage of "early bird" menu which was extensive and included some real delights. (Watch out it advertises including a side dish - when really they just mean rice!) Service was prompt. Flavours just right (with handy "hotness" ratings to guide your choice). Would recommend. At just under £30 for two (without wine) good value

The guyn who runs this place is ride and offensive. Just ask for tap water and he storms out of the kitchen to give you some abuse. Come on - serve tap water, everyone else does!

We have been coming here for years and the standard is always consistent. last week we took friends and relatives from Ireland and couldn't have had a more enjoyable night, as usual great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. A little oasis!
