Very surprised at how good the food was. I had the chefs special - a very tasty mix of spiced minced lamb wrapped in a flat bread base served with a very fresh salad and a cooling cucumber dish. Perfect for a Monday night meal. The service was good and the place proved to be popular, even at the start of the week. I noticed that cocktails were a speciality but it was too early in the evening to try one. A good range of wines & beers served as well.

The food is worth what you pay for it and you never leave hungry. Nick and Androulla are superb hosts it is like you are part of the family when you walk in. Now it is licensed it is even better.

We had the Greek Feast for four people at £19.95 each and it was worth every penny. The selection of dishes was superb, they tasted delicious, the restaurant was warm and authentically decorated and the couple who own it were very friendly and welcoming. You can also take your own wine, which helps if you prefer a specific wine. This is a place i will visit time and again and never be bored or leave feeling hungry!! I was stuffed and felt like i would never eat again, highly recommended.

Excellent food, superb atmosphere and is now a licensed restaurant so you don't have to bring your own bottle any more. Thanks to Nick and Andrula for many a wonderful time

Atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly and service was excellent, especially with our 2 1/2 tear old son. we had the Mezzi. what can we say, fantastic! the chicken kebabs cooked over the grill were sooooo tender, and the lamb was the best we've ever eaten. cant wait to go back.

The food is SUPERB!!, and the portions are ENORMOUS!! Only venture here with a very hearty appetite… The starters: DOLMADES (Stuffed Vine Leaves) are a delight... And the Grilled Cheeses: HALUMI or FETA is very tasty... My favourite meal, the KLEFTIKO (Greek Lamb) the biggest I have had anywhere And beautifully cooked every time… My wife adores the KEBABS too… The cost is more than reasonable, especially as most meals come with Rice & Potatoes (done with a hint of chilli) & a HUGE Greek Salad!!! You could not do better than enjoy your Greek experience HERE !!! Many, Many thanks to NICK & ANDRULA and their faithful assistant FIONA For many hours of happy dinning !!! P.S. Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden BridgeDisappointing when i booked i asked for directions surely implying it was our first visit - they should have told us it was byo wine and they didn't accept plastic.so we were totally unprepared- had to go to off licence and pool our cash together. food servings were quite small. the cost of the vegetarian food was over priced £10.50 for a main course of a small dish of beans in a tomato sauce with onion and a few mushrooms. how can they justify that when some of the meat dishes were the same price? wont reccommend or return

Eastern Spice Restaurant – Hebden BridgeI have been to Kitties a few times now. each time the food has been very good, however each time it has only been me and my partner there so service was always fantastic. It reminds me of a place were Gordon Ramsey should visit because the food can be adventurous (every kind of veg in miniature) and just needs to be re vamped. a really nice place though. Worth a visit.

Granted it is one of the pricier venues in Hebden Bridge but the extra's make it worth every penny.
