This was our second visit as a family. The location and setting are just stunning, and the staff are all so friendly, helpful, and genuine. The carvery, lots of choice, good portions, and really lovely home-cooked food. I would definitely recommend; in fact, I have already booked for a few weeks' time. Finally, the staff, we had a small child with us, who made quite a lot of mess under the highchair. We were embarrassed and apologised, our waitress really was so lovely about it, don't worry, she said I will sweep it all up when you leave, it happens! And my granddaughters absolutely adore, and are obsessed with, and want more of the sticky toffee pudding!

Great food friendly staff the view over the golf course was lovely would definitely recommend to others and would definitely come back excellent service good value for your money as well

We enjoyed are Easter Sunday meal very much. The quality of food was excellent the welcome and service was very professional. Our table was positioned so that the view of the golf course was lovely it must have been the best table! It was very busy in the restaurant so the service at times was a little slow but the didn’t detract from an enjoyable experience. We will certainly go again and recommend to others.

Great food and an amazing venue ! Would highly recommend and head back whenever we are in the area . It was Easter Sunday and could have probably done with a few more staff on however credit to the staff who were none stop all day .

The service was absolutely amazing and food as well. The atmosphere was incredible and I can recommend anyone who have occasion to consider using this place.

Have eaten here several times in the last three months ,food is delicious with great vegetarian options its a lovely village pub atmosphere again ,sadly short lived and will be missed.

Had a fantastic meal at the Sun Inn with Huw and the team, could not fault any part of the evening from booking a table, service at hospitality at the pub and the delicious meal. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We went for Sunday Lunch. Food and Service was excellent.

The pub was super cosy and welcoming. Lucy and Nia kept us well watered with good wine and great beer. All four of us made different choices, and all four dishes was extremely tasty. A really nice vibe throughout the evening, with locals stood at the bar chatting, to other groups sat eating. Drinks and food very reasonable priced. We were so impressed, we've booked to go back for Sunday lunch ... our children are going to love the doughnuts! Wishing Hugh and Lucy the best of luck for their next adventure when they (sadly) leave The Sun Inn.

We ate the delicious food cooked by Hugh many times whilst he was at off grid gourmet. First visit to the pub and it certainly will not be the last. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was fabulous. Can’t wait to visit again. What’s more? It’s only down the road!

Simply a pair of courses, in a lovely inn setting. A select menu offering interesting themed options,; this week was a Spanish influence. The Iberian ham and accompaniments was a healthy sized sharing portion, with bread, oil and salted roasted almonds. My main, a wagu beef pie when cut poured delicious gravy over the veg and lovely chips. Celeriac, kale and broccoli were the other well presented veg. Altogether a delicious course. Local ales and cider on draft. This team know how to make the inn special!

Superb food and a great variation in the menu. A real hidden gem and a great feel to the pub.
