Bombay Bistro – BaldockI great evening out with mates, great food and wine, tasteful decor and music
Bombay Bistro – BaldockI would recommend you AVOID if you have a large party of people. Diabolical experience, kept waiting for an hour and a half then given two separate tables. Food was substandard - have vowed never to go there again.
Harvester – Hemel HempsteadGreat food - you will definitely order again!, great prices, great service and great surroundings.
Suruchi Restaurant – BarnetI always go to Zinco's with my friends, the menu has all the Italian food staples, great big pizza's, bowls of pasta, meat and fish dishes, with very friendly service.
Zinco Restaurants – Borehamwood0 out of 10. On Saturday 18th. December a group of Preston North End were refused a drink on the grounds that a dining area was in the vicinity of the bar area. At the time, approx 11.05 there were 2 diners, but 24 thirsty fans, people who included professionals, retired people and youngish fans who later on ensured that cars stuck in Holywell Lane got away and presumably expressed their thanks, unlike the manager of the pub.
The Peahen – St AlbansRecently i have visited Dils Indian Restaurant, when i kept my first step in this restaurant i thought where i came? when i passed a long time on there i don't know my self how can i explain my feeling about Dils restaurant. Really Dils is a great where people can setup there mind frequently , and feel comfortably.Best of luck Dils restaurant.
Dils Indian Restaurant – HertfordLovely ambience, lovely food at reasonable prices and helpful friendly staff. My favorite Indian restaurant to visit.
The Zafrani Indian – Bishops StortfordGreat pub now its been refurbished,Food was excellent.Excellent pub
The Huntsman Inn – HoddesdonI visited this friendly lovely restaurant a few weeks ago with my Chinese friend and found it to be simply good value for a Saturday, well cooked tasty food and very succulent and I'm not just talking about the lovely lady owner.Lets hope this restaurant is here to stay forever. Regards Richard
Sukawatee – HitchinI have visited the Galley Hall many times and I always find the staff extremely, friendly and helpful. Excellent choice of food, and nicely presented. Would thoroughly recommend to my friends.
Galley Hall – HertfordStayed here overnight on the way into London as it’s not far from Cockfosters, at the end of the Piccadilly Line. It’s the former country pile of the Mountbattens, just outside St Albans, and retains plenty of country house charm, particularly in the cocktail bar with its leather sofas. There’s also a spa and fitness centre and the original art deco swimming pool. It’s popular with visiting football teams and one corridor is packed with memorabilia, if that’s your gig. Foodwise there’s a fine dining restaurant and a brasserie and we had dinner in the latter. It’s quite dark but also quite chic with a buzzy atmosphere and we were suitably impressed. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere north of London with both good facilities and a bit of character.
Sopwell House – St AlbansWe often dine at Ponsbourne either in their restaurant or their bistro. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. The chefs produce some amazing dishes. We have never been disappointed. Well done Ponsbourne, in this day and age you are an oasis.
Ponsbourne Park Hotel – Hertfordwe went for lunch on mother's day. The food was dreadful, the meat was all dried up, the starter portions were so small that we had to ask for extra houmous, the staff were rude and food was just thrown down on the table. Would not recommend anyone to go there.
Italy – BarnetWe did a suprise birthday party for my mum at the Aeyeon Restaurant and found the waiters very welcoming and as for the food it was excellent would definitely recommend Aeyeon to other people as it was a very friendly happy atmosphere. I would give the food 10/10 and my mum had a fantastic time to.
Italy – BarnetThis place had been recommended to us but it was nothing special. I shared a few different dishes with my husband and they were a bit hit and miss. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful and others not so much. We would only recommend this if you were in the area and the restaurant 'Aeyeon' a few doors down was closed otherwise go there instead. I am very fussy about my food so i know good food when i have it!
The Blue Olive Restaurant – BarnetI am very fussy about what i eat and but i was pleasantly surprised when i went to eat at 'Aeyeon' the food was great! We had the sheftalia and a mixed kebab between myself and my husband and the food was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Definitely better than the other 2 Greek restaurants nearby 'Blue Olive' and 'Red Pepper'. Would definitely recommend this.
