Always get a lovely warm welcome at Willows and they do the best cream tea I've had in years. There is always an excellent selection of goodies, including luscious homemade cakes, my favourite peppermint tea and very indulgent hot choc with whipped cream and mini marshmallows. Children catered for with pleasure and don't miss the Craft Cafe on a Monday evening; bring your knitting and join in :) Also went to a 50th birthday here a few weeks ago and couldn't fault the food or the presentation. Highly recommended.

This has to be if not, the best Indian Restaurant in this part of the world, very good highly recommended, 10/10

Had a wonderful meal at Sheldrakes (my first visit). The food is wonderful, but the ambiance is outstanding. Helen and her team make you feel as if nothing to too much to make your evening special. My partner is visually impaired and they were very helpful in an unassuming way.. We will be back with friends and family

We went to Sheldrakes Feb 2012.This was one of the worst Sunday lunches I have ever had. We normally do not dine out of a Sunday as we do enjoy our Sunday roast at home,however occasionally I do like the day off as so we go out. I was so disappointed. Chicken thighs on the carvery ??Frozen Yorkshire pudding, the beef was so rare it was sat in a puddle of blood on the plate. It was terrible. On the up side the service was good but I can get service with a smile at home.

Zeera is still the best( and that includes our visit to Atul Kocher which was good) and the staff, food and atmosphere cannot be beaten. Had a superb meal on Friday, when we tried the set menu. You must try it. Looking forward to our next visit on Thursday. This restaurant is a jewel in the wirral crown.

very enjoyable evening

Four of us enjoyed an afternoon tea here and we were all highly impressed with this tea room. The atmosphere was superb, and we were warmly welcomed and treated very very well indeed. The food and drink was of a very high standard and the service impeccable. The only criticism I could level would be the fact that my cafetiere of coffee was rather small and soon ran out, whilst my dining companion was given a large tea pot and her supply of tea did not run out. Apart from that small niggle, we really couldn't fault our experience.

Many visits, many different dishes and each one as good as the last. I am never one to make life easy so I like to order something to my own taste which is not a problem at Ambuja. Quick on delivery but a visit to the restaurant is highly recommended, 5* food and service all the way. Ambuja outshines other restaurants by miles. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Used Heswall Tandoori for years, we have tried others now and again but always gone back to Ali's, Chicken Tikka Pasanda is my wife's favorite, while I go for something a bit hotter maybe Chicken Tikka Biriany with Madras curry ( it's a man thing )

I went there for the first time tonight, my expectations were quite high as I've heard good things about it from a few people. The décor is modern, stylish and comfortable and the Maître d was very welcoming when we entered the restaurant. The food was really fantastic, i've eaten Indian food in many restaurant in many countries and this was some of the best I can remember. The Bangladeshi specials are excellent., rich, spicy, flavoursome and delicious. The waiters were attentive and friendly and this added to the overall atmosphere. I will defiantly be going back next week and will probably go on Sunday as they have a £9.95 4 course banquet. Well worth a visit, even is it is a bit out of the way.

We visited the Ambuja for the first time even though we only live around the corner. We will now visit regularly. We chose the Tuesday night Banquet and it was excellent. The quality of the food and the presentation was superb. we will definitely recommend.

Since moving house we started using Ambuja as our local Indian. After the first visit, as good as our previous restaurant is, (and is still within a couple of miles), we have never looked back and continued to use Ambuja as our No.1 takeaway. For quality and price for that quality it is second to none. Staff are friendly and always helpful and it is always a pleasure to order from them. Never had a bad meal and it doesn't matter if we're after something plain or something more adventurous it is still always fab. Even our 2 year old has now started eating curry as a result!

Went to the Devon doorway recently and found food and staff excellent. Food was definitely up market and is worth paying a bit more for. Service was excellent

The best ever Indian food we have ever tasted we have became regulars since it first opened excellent service and food we go once twice a week and never disappointed Tues and sun 3 course meal deal of 9.99 fantastic not to be missed,Helen & Ian.

Just popped in for quick healthy lunch and was amazed at how tasty a simple prawn marie rose jacket potato and side salad could be! The service was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised to be offered balsamic dressing as well as the usual condiments. for my salad. Lovely atmosphere and yummy food. Highly recommend and will definitely going again :)

the food is good the service is good,BUT only if you don't get the dark haired male waiter.rude,arrogant and don't bother making conversation with him.he threw the rice down on the plate,had a sulk when my mother changed her mind about what she would like to eat,his attitude is appalling and quite frankly i wont be going back there.its a shame really,the female waitress`s where excellent and very attentive.but he has a right attitude on him.

I am an Indian doctor and i always go to Ambuja for when i dine in or have a take away. Even though i live in Neston, i pass other restaurants but it is worth the drive. They sell traditional Indian and Bangladeshi food but with a modern twist. You know when a Indian restaurant is good when you see Indian people eating inside. 5* all the way

Went to this restaurant after reading the positive reviews and i have to agree the food was stunning. I had the Ambuja Special Korahi and my husband had the Chingri (King prawns). They describe it as "monster size" king prawns and it is as described. My only disappointment was that i didn't have a bigger stomach to fit more in. Portions where very generous and i would highly recommend to anyone. Will be back again very soon. Probably the best Indian restaurant on the Wirral.
